RED-HAIRED GUY AT THE DRIVE-THRU WINDOW.
I have been a loyal Starbucks customer since 2005, and I have never felt so disrespected and insulted until today at this location. If you hate working on Black Friday that much, maybe call out next time instead of taking your miserable attitude out on customers.

All I ordered was a simple hot latte and you couldn’t even be bothered to ask if I needed a sleeve. The drink was burning hot, and when my friend on the driver side tried to get your attention (honking, saying “excuse me”), you ignored completely. My friend finally got out of car and knocked on the window, and you decided that was the moment to suddenly respond… just to snap, “You’re not allowed to knock,” like we were the problem.

Maybe if you did your job with even the bare minimum of courtesy or acknowledgment, we wouldn’t have had to try three different ways to get your attention. Your attitude was rude, lazy, and honestly embarrassing for someone working in customer service. The fact that you’ve managed to stay employed for over three years is the only real surprise here.

Do better or find a job where you don’t have to interact with actual human beings.

Today is Black Friday and I just went through this Starbucks drive‑thru for a hot drink - the experience was incredibly frustrating. The red‑haired employee at the window already seemed irritated when he handed me my drink, and he didn’t give me a sleeve for the hot cup. I called out ‘excuse me’ multiple times, but the window stayed shut and he never looked over or gave any sign that he heard me. I even honked, and still no acknowledgment.

As a last resort, I got out of my car and knocked on the window just to get his attention. He quickly opened it for a second and snapped, ‘I’m taking an order,’ in a very irritated tone, which made me instinctively apologize even though I was just trying not to burn my hands. Only afterward did it really hit me that it wasn’t my fault: 1) a hot drink should come with a sleeve, and 2) he could have at least glanced over or gestured to show he’d seen me and would be right with me. When he finally handed me a sleeve, he added, ‘You can’t knock on the window,’ as if I was the one being unreasonable.

If knocking on the window is an issue, then there should be a more respectful way to communicate that and, more importantly, a basic level of acknowledgment for customers waiting with a request. Starbucks markets itself as a premium brand with elevated service and invests heavily in training employees to create welcoming, attentive experiences, so behavior like this really falls short of what the company says it stands for. This location clearly needs better training and coaching on customer service and simple human courtesy.

As always, we come here and receive such a warm welcome and beautiful service. This is why we are loyal to this specific establishment. Thank you all for your service and smile.
The only thing I forgot, was to scan the app for the cups I bought. It's OK, wife is elated for the cups. Now she can add them to the 20 that sit up on the shelf. Like Elfs on a shelf🤷🏻‍♂️😁 She is happy.

I go to this Starbucks almost everyday and I always get the best service! Kal, who usually takes my order in the drive through even knows my order by heart (my order definitely is a long one too lol). He’s always friendly and provides excellent service. Thanks guys!

I had a very unpleasant experience with the cashier, upon walking in, before placing my order I asked for the restroom code and the girl who was cashier said it was for customers only. I had stated I was going to order I just needed to use the restroom. She was rude and came off strong, stating that restrooms are for customers only. I told her I have the app and I could show her, as the is what I would be using for payment. She gave me attitude and did not make me feel welcomed. She was rushing me to give her my order just so she can provide me with the restroom code. I have been a customer for many years this is the worse experience I've had at this chain. Even after the way i was treated, I still gave them my business. Be sure I will not be returning to this location. There's better ways to communicate new policies with customers,( especially when they're not displayed for one to see) then to make one feel uncomfortable and unwelcome
