I was around the area and was recommended to this by a local and MMMMM this place was good. I picked up 2 of each, egg and ham bread, pork floss bread, and hot dog bread, and ham and cheese bread. I stopped by around 930 in the morning and the bread was so warm and freshly baked! All of them were delicious although their sausage bread is not as good as PB. Overall, awesome quick breakfast option if you're in a pinch. It's in the boiling crab plaza, plenty of parking, nice and friendly staff. Will definitely visit again next time!

Fresh Taiwanese breads everyday and many options available. Good quality. Special promotional pricing that makes the breads affordable. There are also day-old bread at a special price if you don't mind that they are made the day before. They have lots of drink selections too and my favorite is the Tiger Coffee which comes with boba.

I tried the new flavours moon cake here.HARD pass. Chocolate Mocha doesn't taste anything like its description. It tasted like some sort of bean paste in the off chocolate & coffee flavour (I guessed). Oolong Matcha tasted like some sort of bean paste floral fragrance with a hint of matcha.Black sesame tasted a little better than the other 2 maybe because there was a decent amount of black sesame mixed with some bean paste that I can actually tasted the black sesame flavour.

Breads are good. The best are the sea salt butter packets (please stock more!!), and sea salt raisin buns.Cakes are also very good. Favorite is the Matcha Tiramisu.

Yesterday I bought a cake here, I told the staff that last time I bought two cream puffs and the next day eating, the cream in the cake was sour. She told me, she didn't know, the cake must have expired that day, can I ask how many days it will keep? She said to be 4 days, so why did she say the cake that day expired even though it was only 2 days? Is it a stale bakery? She should have said she would tell the shop owner.When it was time to pay, I saw a paper on the wall: "we have the right to refuse to serve anyone" in Vietnamese. Why is it not added in English for everyone to read, or are you discriminating against Vietnamese and afraid of being boycotted by other ethnics?

The first Sunmerry we went to was in Monterey Park. When we went to see Chinese films, we would indulge in drinks at Sunmerry Happy Lemon.Well, the world "changed" and trips to movies out of town ended. When Sanity appeared to have returned, we looked for a Sunmerry closer to home(closer, not close). Drove from Belmont Shore to the Garden Grove location. Their Jasmine Green Tea w/ fresh squeezed lemon is my absolute favorite. They always have great specials and last week it was $1 "Ice Cream Day". We had matcha and Ube.We've now been to 8 or 9 of their locations.Garden Grove is our favorite.Please open a location in Long Beach!!
Literally just walked our of there 10 minutes ago. Went with Kevin's recommendation of the open faced ham and cheese pastry. Flippin' amazing! I'll be back to try the other delicious treats! Somebody give Kevin a raise! ?

I was looking for a place to take my daughter after her doctor's appointment. I had received an email from Sunmerry regarding summer drinks that if you buy one you would get one. It would be a different drink each day. Tuesday would be matcha latte. I drink a lot of matcha tea. Looking at the website the night before, I had also made a list of baked goods I wanted to pick up: Ham & Egg, Shiitake Cheese, Choco Bolo Pudding, Tuna, Chicken Cheddar, Garlic Parsley, and Walnut Cookie. Husband texted that he didn't want a drink, but wanted a BBQ Bolo which is always a must when we go to Sunmerry. Daughter added her picks of BBQ Bolo, Shredded Pork Puff Pastry, Green Onion, and Shokupan Sea Salt Roll Pack. We found everything on the list and egg tarts as it was 10:00 a.m. in the morning. Gabriela saw that we were waiting with a loaded tray and came to our assistance to ring up our order. We were happy with her service. We ordered our matcha lattes. Gabriela asked what sweetness level we desired. They don't have 75%. They do have 70%. Daughter ordered an iced large passion fruit slush for a non-dairy option. We got a freshly squeezed lemon green tea to deliver for other daughter to take to work.What made us even more satisfied as customers was the price we had to pay for our purchases. A few of the breads (Tuna, Garlic Parsley, Choco Bolo Pudding) were on sale.Husband wants to drop by on Thursday when the Summer drink is Salted Cream Green Tea.It was a 15 minutes drive from the doctor's office.

Delicious pastries Went there this past Sat and Sunday. They had $1 ice cream with any purchase for National ice cream day!Also got the mochi donuts which were from prior day. Buy 2, get 1 free. Good service. Good food. But nothing id be like omg must go again haha The strawberry cream with the roll reminded me of a weaker version of cream pan's version of the strawberry pastries, but not as good as cream pans. Anyway, decent deals. Nothing overpriced. Just not omg. Oddly enough, I'd prefer 85 degrees haha
