Sorry guys.. this one was a total disappointment. The kids didn’t like the chicken nor the pork Shumai (trashed), Chinese donuts were just filled with oil (trashed) and the Harcow.. it just tasted weird. If anything, I would only go back for the small fried eggs noodles and the noodle rolls. Those two were ok.. (full of grease). Overall, I shall never return!

Terrible do not waste your money! They serve spoiled food. The quality has definitely changed. They have started to mix in too much fill-ins instead of ground pork in the shiu mai, leaving a very loose soft texture. Disgusting. Fried shrimp ball was very tough and rice roll with shrimp was sour.

DONT COME TO THIS PLACE!!! Worse place you can get for Dim Sum ever! It's cash only and the food was bad, not just taste bad but it actually gone bad! The rice roll was sour and the shrimp dumplings has no taste at all. If i could give less then one star I want to give them a negative 10 for the food. The only thing that is good here is just the service and the lady was nice. But I will never come back again. NEVER!

This place is nasty. Saw them pick up food that fell out of the counter and throw it back into the food trays with their bare hands, without gloves, as if nothing happened. Also saw on another occasion them picking up food that fell to the ground and putting it back with the rest of the food. Definitely not the most hygienic place.

Altogether this is the best combination of taste, price, and selection for to go dim sum. It might really rate a 4.5 but we're always pleased with the food.

Came in a little after opening and the food had already tasted old, and was somehow cold despite being on top of a steamer. The flavor wasn't great in most dishes as well. It's unfortunate but it was definitely an experience that will keep me from coming back.

Love the dim sum. The bakery bread with BBQ is the best.

For the price, it's a great deal. Not sure what everyone is complaining about. It's all takeout so it's packed nicely. Tastes fine. Worth the visit.

This has to be the worst place for dim sum. I read the reviews and was buying at the market. I like to support the smaller business during this pandemic. The forgot to pack my two shiu mai orders. When I got home trying to call but they don't have a phone number listed. The food is bad and never again. Save your money and disappointment since there are many better places around the area.

I found this place from a list of Dim Sum places listed in the OC. It was listed as the place to go for ham sui gok. Considering it's my favorite dim sum item, I had it bookmarked but I had my qualms about it being a take out only and language barrier issues. So it's located inside the Shun Fat Supermarket. I honestly have never seen this market, I've only noticed the Target and the Lee's Sandwiches that was on the corner of Brookhurst and Westminster. I recognized it only by the sign from the pictures from yelp. I actually thought it was closed. There was no one there, but I courageously walked over to the counter and found that it wrapped around and a lady greeted me as I continued to look at what was available. It almost looks like there's no food because they are in all the steamers but everything was labeled in English and I had no trouble ordering the following: Har Gow Siu Mai Stewed Chicken Feet Ham Sui Gok Sesame Balls Shrimp/Beef Rice Noodle Egg Tarts Quick and easy. The food has definitely been sitting out and it's not super fresh. The lady was kind and she understand all of my pointing and talking through my mask. It was still kind of warm when I got home and I didn't need to heat up anything. The ham sui gok are definitely pretty big and were crispy and tasty. I'm not sure what's inside the sesame balls but they were good too. Less fresh was the sui mai, I didn't try the har gow or chicken feet. I'd say skip the rice noodle completely if they have been sitting out. I was surprised with the egg tart. It was buttery and flaky and the filling was tasty. I'd say stick with the baked/fried items but doesn't hurt to try it all once and see what you think.

The most incredible dim sum I have ever tried

This place is absolutely one of the most pleasant restaurants in the neighborhood. Whenever I come there I am remarkably happy. They manage their very high standard service and the topmost level of meals they give. You can never go wrong with this place. Highly recommended.

I have had my share of Dim sum(mostly Cantonese) to say that I've had better. I was in the area and randomly it appeared on my search. For sure the food is cheap but not my favorite due to quality and the way it is stored. The establishment is very old, food in trays covered with plastic foods wrap and the glass through which you see the food is shabby lol. Perhaps it is good for other food from their menu(I saw many pho options and other noodle soups) but definitely I wouldn't be eating dim sum here.

Google was showing this place as temporarily closed, so I had to go by and see for myself. I was getting takeout throughout the lockdown, so I was concerned that I might have lost one of my go to places for quick dim sum. This place is really good, very reasonably priced and the ladies are super nice. Go early in the day to make sure they still have everything. I went right before closing (7pm), so they were out of a couple of my favorites. The ham sui gok and har gow are really yummy.
