I absolutely love the food at this restaurant! My coworkers and I love the various fried rice dishes, honey walnut shrimp, singapore noodles, beef chow fun with fried garlic, black bean chow mein, orange chicken; it's all SO good and made fresh to order! Recently we learned that they are now only open starting at 5pm instead of being available for lunch. We're devastated. None of us live in the immediate area, we just happen to work near TG Garden. Since we can no longer have this for lunch, we're all just disappointed that we no longer have this as an option. TG Garden - please reconsider!

Pleasantly surprised! You really get your money's worth of food! We were so surprised how large the portions were. We came about an hour before closing and there were two big tables full. The waitress got us a seat quickly then gave us menus. We looked through the menu and decided on corn soup with chicken (not pictured), fish fillet with seasoned veggies, and egg/shrimp chow fun. Soup lacked a bit of flavor, could use a little more salt and white pepper. But asides from that, pretty good! Fish fillet with veggies was so good! Packed with bunch of fresh veggies and nice chunks of fish pieces! Goes great with a little hot chilli oil (if you like a little kick) Egg/ shrimp chow fun! Delicious! Soupy but not soup chow fun noodles (they were perfect texture, not mushy!!!!). Highly recommend this place if you're in the area.

Price not worth the service (complete lack of it).1st time placed the order for a pick up through their website. Somehow it hadn’t gone through so I had to wait double the time.2nd time ordered through Uber. Called to confirm that all house specials come with rice before ordering, since their menus don’t have any details at all. My order came without rice, so I am now cooking rice to be able to eat my dinner.

Picked up take out. Got beef chow fun, Singapore vermicelli, and salted fish fried rice. Vermicelli had a lot of spice on it, beef chow fun tasted too sweet. Fish fried rice was still good. Wanted to get yellow curry and the hk egg waffle but apparently they don't make a bunch of things now. They only had a picture menu at the restaurant to order off of.

Although it may seem like typical Chinese food to some, this specific style and menu of Cantonese food was harder than I thought it would be to find in this area. Luckily I found TG Garden on Yelp one night when looking for a place to grab dinner with friends. It's definitely a smaller restaurant with limited seating, but I did see many takeout orders being placed over the phone. Service was excellent and prices were incredibly fair for the portion sizes. I would say it's definitely more of a family style sharing food type of place. We ordered the Yangzhou fried rice, the salt and pepper fish, and the honey walnut shrimp. The Yangzhou fried rice was delicious and reminded me of childhood, just a simple dish done right (9/10). The salt and pepper fish was so well seasoned and not too fishy, making it a must order (10/10). And then can you ever really go wrong with honey walnut shrimp, not at TG you won't. The shrimp was perfectly crispy and saucy, not soggy at all (10/10)! I'm not sure which dish it came with but we were also served a big bowl of white rice to eat our entrees with as well. I can't wait to come back soon and try out their other dishes. I can't believe I just found out about this place recently and will definitely bring friends here again when we have a craving for good Cantonese food!

I have ordered food from here several times, both dine in and take out. The fish fillet that I ordered before always come with rice. This time there was none. I asked the waitress if the dish comes with rice, I got a one word answer, "NO". It's not so much about whether rice is included or not, but the attitude in the response. I did check the menu and here is what it said, 35. Salt & Pepper Fish Fillet 椒鹽班片$15.95Served with steam rice.

We came here for our lunch takeout after spending the morning at Disneyland. The food was prepared quickly, and the additional sauces were done independently. This is a small restaurant and I don't think they have many dine in patrons as there were not many seats. However, there is a simplistic ambiance to their location which made me comfortable to order and would order again in the future. We ordered the beef chow fun and Mongolian beef. Both dishes were good and the portion size was well balanced with their cost. The food wasn't too heavy and not saturated woth oil. I found the food very filling and had a healthy balance of vegetables and meat. We were satisfied with our orders and thought it was a great Chinese restaurant to order take out from.

The customer service was really awesome and the food was even better. It smelled wonderful when they brought it to the table and the taste was amazing! Portions were good and prices were good. Highly recommended! Will come here again!!!

It has been hard for me to find Cantonese style cuisine in OC that's actually good. I only knew of Tasty Garden in Irvine, but this place in my opinion is just as good and has way better service and pricing. It's a small restaurant located in a busy plaza near a McDonald's. It's not a well-known restaurant but they offer a variety of food and the dishes I've tried here have been good in taste. The service is also good and the area is clean and has ample seating despite its size. I do not know the man's name who is typically at the cash register but he is very friendly, attentive, and offers good recommendations. Apparently, they have a party tray deal for an affordable price but I'm not sure if it is still in effect. You may want to call to verify. It is not bad considering food is so expensive these days!!We ordered the Kung pao chicken, Yangzhou fried rice, Fried Calamari, and House Special Chow Fun. All were very tasty and of generous portion. The only thing that could use some improvement is their congee. I find that it lacks some flavor and spices like ginger and onion. It tastes just like rice, water, and salt mixed with a meat or seafood. However, they have good food and honestly every time I have gone there is hardly anyone there. They deserve a bigger clientele but unfortunately aren't very well-known yet. I think it might be the area it is in and how it is not very noticeable from the street view. Please come and support this business. They're pretty good!
