The Moo Restaurant -Garden Grove

We came for ice cream, sugar cane and phá lấu but everything tasted old. The sugar cane barely has any juice. It was 90% ice. The supposedly gelato was super icy and we all agreed that it is not gelato. Phá lấu was oily and salty…… Also waited for a long time for 3 items ? nothing like they advertised on social media.

I would have given a 0 star if I could but it's not possible, I came on Thursday Sept 12th and bought food for my sick mother, I got her a veggie pho and dropped it off. She can't drive if she could she would have gone herself but she texted me a photo of a used glove inside the veggies of her pho. I called they said they where gonna replace it the next day. When arriving for the replacement for my mom the told me att they where gonna give me was extra bean sprouts because they didn't want to give me my money back or the replant meal. Horrible service from the owner cook and cashier.

This place is considerably more pricey than most viet restaurants. Then the foods should be worth it right? The foods were not all that like the social media claims it to be. The service was so slow. The restroom was so gross i walked in and out right away. Not returning.

First time visiting this place & I would recommend it to my friends. We drove from AZ, got to our hotel, and were hungry. We saw this shop being recommended on TikTok, and we had to try it out! It was about 30 minutes before closing when we got there, but they were really accommodating to us. I got the chicken rice with fat (cơm gà xối mỡ) & my boyfriend got the pho with beef flank and tendons. Both dishes were amazing, chicken was juicy, and the skin was crispy, and the pho was good to taste. Would come back again whenever we are back in Cali!

service is so bad! I ordered 4 dishes (chicken thigh pho, hainanese chicken rice, Trung Bac Thao meat porridge, grilled meat vermicelli, bread)... when delivered there were 3 bags of goods... 1 bag included (hainanese chicken rice, grilled meat vermicelli, box of pho includes chicken noodle soup, bag of onions and a bag of fish sauce); Bag 2 is the meat and egg porridge with Bac Thao; Bag 3 is only bread, no bread...one of which is chicken pho and lacks broth. (I ordered on Uber!) I called the restaurant and the solution was not thorough! Called for missing items and asked for a refund..but I didn't see the refund section in Uber! If you order pho without pho broth, how can you eat it!

They did not have samples of the ice cream. I ordered an ice cream scoop with a cone, but they were out of cones. The server didn't inform me and continued preparing the ice cream in a cup until I noticed and asked. Food was ok but nothing to say wow. I won't be returning. Toilet is not clean as well

So I saw this restaurant in TikTok and tried when I was in town.
The food:
We order total of 4 dishes
3 dishes came out the the food was okay to me. Nothing really impressive or like how to advertise in TikTok but it’s not too bad as well.
We finished all 3 dishes and waited for our 4th one. Wait and wait almost 30 minutes passed and nothing came out.
I went to the register to pay the service told us “ your 4th dishes didn’t come out yet right? I won’t charge you for it “
I looked at him and smile and thinking to myself “
Well they knew but didn’t even said anything to us” oh well overall it’s a try.

The restroom:
Speechless how dirty the restroom is. Sticky floor and the mirror I have to say OMG I have to to use the toilet paper to clean the mirror to see myself….
I don’t mind the food quality, the missing one of our item but the restroom…. NO

Not the best Vietnamese restaurant. Service was lack luster and nonexistent even though it wasn’t that busy. Waiter didn’t bring any water to our table and barely came to our table. Bang trang next door was tasty. The ice cream there was okay, it wasn’t real gelato but still good.

Came in after we got out of Disneyland and this was one of the few restaurants that open till 1am. I ordered the fried calamari ($14), it was good but I think the breading could be thinner, I also order the honey kumquat drink($7) that was good but it’s expensive considering it’s only 8 ounces. My mum ordered the wonton soup($20) that has 6 or 7 big shrimp and pork wonton in it, that was pretty good however the broth is a little too salty in our opinion. They sell gelato as well if you were craving for something cold and sweet

I came there at around midnight. They open till 1am. There were not many table at that moment but the service was slow. It took a while to get ordered. I tried the deep fried chicken with rice. Food is ok. Chicken is dry not juicy. But it’s acceptable for the late night restaurant because there are not many options at that time.
