I have been to this restaurant 3 times now. My first trip to Cali, my family and I went here to try the Bo 7 Mon and it was delicious and the portion was good. So good that we went back a few days later. They were generous with the lettuce and whatever you need to make the wraps. However, that experience has changed a lot when my family and I were there recently. First off, the portion was much smaller. The price went up a little bit since a year ago which is understandable because of inflation but I expect the portion to stay similarly the same. The food was still good, not as good as the first time we had but still good. We went on a weekday and there were only 2 tables occupied including ours but the service was a bit slow. We didn’t mind. Good to catch up on things and talk.We had 6 people so tips (18%) were already included in the price. For 18%, we expect better service. The manager or waiter seemed unhappy every time our family asked for more vegetables or asking for more sauce. I had to get up and reminded about the sauce cause we were waiting for more than 5 mins. They were not busy that night and maybe the person with busy with something. One thing to be careful and mindful is that. The person already included the tips in the total cost, we paid using our visa and we had to sign the sheet. The person told us to just sign and leave the tips and total price section alone. I could be wrong but please DO NOT do that. Make sure you fill in everything. Once you leave, the person can write whatever number for the tips and the total and you will find out later that you overpaid. It happened before to a friend of ours and ended up with a huge bill. My finance and I felt that it was really weird he told us that. He could be honest but he could not be.Overall, we were disappointed because we had much better experience before. Just be prepare to pay a bit more than usual because the portion is smaller than before.

Food was actually pretty decent. However, I already left a good tip on the table before going to pay up front. After signing the receipt, the cashier, presumably the owner asked "no tip?", I had to tell him it's on the table. Rude and greedy as hell.

In my experience, this is the best place to come to for 7 courses of beef and/or baked catfish. Beyond the generous quality and quantity of food, the restaurant is nice, clean, and spacious. Another reviewer mentioned this, but when we know we want to eat here we'll call about half an hour in advance for the catfish. I'd definitely recommend coming by since it's always a treat for my family whenever we have the opportunity to go.

Warning: if you only order one order of the 7 course beef, they only give you 6, forcing you to select 1 of 2 for the 6th choice. Asked the waiter why, he replies that it's too much trouble to make portions for one order. Food was alright as if the flavors were off, sauces were watery though. Never coming again.

Pros:Good foods, good service, nice decorations...Cons: as I remember there is only 1 restroom and the is not cleaned. Restroom need to be cleaned at all time.

We've been going to this restaurant for years! This review is long overdue lolWent last night with friends. The restaurant is clean, the staff very attentive. Ordered tea and sweet potato fries while waiting for our friends to arrive.Of course we ordered the 7 courses of beef and fried catfish. They're very generous with the condiments, vegetables and vermicelli.Everything was delicious and the catfish which took longer than we expected was WORTH the wait!!! (I guess we were just craving for the delicious catfish lol). It was tasty, moist and very crispy skin!!!!!! Omg! It was so yummy!!!!! Food was so good that we all forgot to take pictures of the food. We just dug in lolCan't wait to back and have some more of their delicious 7 courses of beef and catfish!

Ngon lắm! My family and I decided to stop by this location because we heard they just remodeled and it's under new management. We often eat bò 7 món so we're familiar with the flavors. The food was up to standard and everything tasted nice. They brought us all the necessary side dishes, vegetables, and rice paper. The service was a bit lacking considering there were 7 courses to be brought out. We understand, however, since there were only 2 people serving and clearing tables. The interior is much nicer and modern than before. The price is also reasonable and aligns with other bò 7 món locations.Definitely give them a try!

Bò tái chanh is full of lettuce and mints. Where's the beef?? It's extremely sugary sweet. Very strange. Bò tái chanh was decent however.

Amazing! My friend introduce me to this place and you have to try their beef 6 course meal! It's $28 a set. There's 4 of us and we ordered 3 set. The food is delicious. We wrap the food in the rice paper. I pretty much enjoyed all the dishes. My least favorite was the steamed meat patty thing as it has a little too much onion and stuff in it for me. My favorite was the meat dip in the boiling vinegar and the seasoned beef where we grill on the plate. Service was quick. Servers tells us like it is. Didn't try to update anything and also gave us recommendations. The place was very spacious. Overall I had an amazing time eating here and trying the dishes. Will be back again!

I'm really lazy about writing re-reviews, but I just wanted to say after 8-9 years... my family gave them another chance and we regret doing so. We came by the weekend before Father's Day weekend hoping to avoid the crazy crowd since my dad doesn't like it when things are too busy. We were the first customers through the door and later on, two other groups joined... Three tables is definitely not too much to take care of in this very large restaurant but there was only one person front of house, and he was slowwwwwww AND RUDE. Just to summarize how annoying my visit was... the menus were sticky, the pricing is higher compared to other 7 courses of beef restaurants. The waiter interrupted our ordering and was like that's not enough food... WELL CAUSE WE AREN'T DONE ORDERING. We waited 40-45 minutes until the food came out. So slowwwwwwwww. The sauce jars were cute but it wasn't very useful since the sauce had issues coming out. The veggies were cut really sloppy and not in ratio with the roll. The meat was really stubby too. Overall taste and flavor of the meal was lacking too. I even noted at 12:13 pm - There was a female voice in the back yelling at her dad. Absolute mess of a family business you have here. My dad had to get up to ask for napkins and they guy snapped at him. The other table had to get up and go to the counter to find this same waiter to order. We were pretty over it and we wanted to just get out so we went to pay. He was like no, go sit, there's the porridge. We're like no no just pack it. We want to get out of here. My dad looked at me and said, "1 star? can you give 0 stars?". My mom was like we "made a mistake." I was annoyed years ago and some how IT GOT WORSE. They may have add some modern touches with their interior but the service is far from acceptable. Hard pass.

Awesome restaurant.Ordered to go over the phone and the guy who answers didn’t speak much English but we made it work. (That’s the first sign it’s legit). This was the first time I’d had non-noodle Vietnamese dishes and everything we got was amazing. My Viet friend confirmed it’s authenticity. Beef dishes came with lots of veggies to make spring rolls. Super fresh, aromatic, tangy. Highly recommend!

The bo 7 mon places have dwindled down to just this one! I used to go to Pagolac, An Hong , and the like back in the day like 1980s and 1990s! This place toggles between old school and striving for modern with its chalkboard drawing of a spring roll construction. We came here on a Monday early dinner like 5pm and only competed with 2 other tables. Still. The older male server could hardly bother with us and our occasional requests (more greens or mam nem, please?) . Or that we are done and waiting for the next course? The parking lot is shared by pretty sketchy bystanders who panhandle. So there's that. I would love to bring some of my foodie friends here at an hour where I don't fear of assault or property damage!
