I am from out of town, food was ok, but when the waitress came to give me our tab and i gave her the full amount she came back to the table aggressively demanding a tip asking us “if her service wasnt good enough for a tip” then proceeded to yell at us in front of other customers, how embarrassing, how unprofessional, sorry i didnt pull out enough cash for a tip, she was also in the back room the whole entire time, and didnt refill our drinks. Thanks for a horrible experience.

All the 1 star reviews are true. This place is odd. I came here without reading the reviews.from the moment you open the door, you get a weird feeling about the place. There’s a cart blocking off the entrance and with no one to be seen. We were about to take off and a lady came running out shouting they were opened. We felt bad and walked in, not a soul. We glanced at the fish and didn’t look appealing. They probably had two types of fish, not your “standard “ sushi bar. One was standing behind the sushi bar. The lady asked for our drinks and said the ice machine was broken. We said it’s fine… then as we sat there our entire party got a weird vibe, we all started to look at the reviews and immediately got up. I had to go look for the lady in the kitchen and told politely asked to cancel our drinks and that we weren’t dining after all. She said “okay” and immediately walked us out. She was really nice but idk there’s something off about that place. I heard this place has been there for over 30 years. Maybe at one point it was “the spot” but it looks like it’s at its ends of time.

Whoa! I NEVER post here. I own a small catering company. I know these reviews can sting but I highly recommend having a bowl of cereal at home for dinner than wasting money here. Empty restaurant should of been the first red flag to RUN! Waited over 45 minutes for our order...kids teriyaki, udon, and baked salmon roll!! I could of busted that out in my kitchen a la minute! Second red flag. Starving, coming in from a long day, so the super salty miso held us over (third red flag) Yes...you guessed it. How you ruin a baked salmon roll is beyond me. Warm California Roll under overcooked yet COLD salmon. Sauce was a light eel sauce that tasted like teriyaki. It was all weird. When I asked the question"Is this teriyaki?", all hell broke loose. Twilight zone commenced! The owner came out of nowhere waving a bottle of brown sauce in my face yelling "eel, eel, eel". Needless to say, that ended the night for me. And I went home and had cereal I like benefit of the doubt. I root for the underdog. We all have off nights. But resorting to yelling at customers, while serving overpriced crap food, is just not for me.

I came to eat with my family when there was no other table but us. After 60 minutes, I asked the waitress (she may be the owner) when my order would be ready to come out.She gave me an attitude and said, "You have no patience. You need to wait. It has only been an hour. No one complains but you. Go walk and talk to the sushi man." I was speechless to someone with that attitude. Food came out after 70 minutes, but the food was so disappointing. The sushi had too much rice. Sashimi looked like it was cut with a scissor. Salmon looked so dried. Albacore was smelly. I wonder why there was no customers but us.It is something that you can expect at an all you can eat sushi place. This is the worst restaurant in town.

This service is really bad, this is because we ordered 1 crab sushi only to try it out and it came out around 5-10 minutes. This place also has a very bad attitude because we did no pay tip.

I wish I gave a one. The lady was extremely MEAN and she yelled at us to pay the tip. We ordered some sashimi and it took more than a hour to arrive and told us that we need pay 18%.?? The sushi was so overpriced and I HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend NOT to go to this place

I love the food here, my family and I have been coming here for 8 years! It's a family owned business and the waitress is the sweetest lady ever, her attention to detail is impeccable. The sushi is always fresh, and the miso soup is the best we have tried. The place is always peaceful with cute japanese decorations. 10/10 recommend!

Came by tonight for some sushi. I didnt read any of the reviews or search the spot. It was just a random spontaneous choice while driving to ease my mind.I came in and saw the sushi bar closed off for seating. After being seated at a booth i stood up and walked over to the sushi bar to see the fish itself before ordering. No fish was on display and the lady raised her voice saying i cant be there and when i asked where is the fish... she got mad and said theyre in the fridge...which i told her i dont see any... and she said the other fridge? Ok... THATS A BAD SIGN.My bf and i ordered the $50 sashimi platter, spicy tuna crunch roll, and sesame chicken.I dont want to knock down on the place, quality, service, and everything else... but the only thing we ordered that was good from the $113... is the yellowtail that came from the sashimi platter. That was it. I really wanted to give this place a good rating but i would be lying. If youre looking for good sushi... go elsewhere. Theres plenty of other spot with better quality...and the fish wont be thawed out multiple days old.

While staying at Wolf Lodge we decided to have take out sushi. I was able to order and pay, but was asked to wait outside in the heat. This place had no other patrons, it was littlerly dead. I couldn't understand why I had to. I felt discriminized. Then the cashier and the sushi man started yelling at me. I asked for my money back, and had Tangerine Thai which was kind enough to let us wait inside for my order.

We stopped in while we were staying at the Great Wolf Lodge and just walked over. Got here at 5:30pm, no wait, service was fast and friendly. The food was amazing. Tuna sushi tasted fresh off the boat. Kids loved the shrimp tempura, and katsu chicken. The spicy tuna crunchy roll was amazing. Just the right amount of crunch. The gyoza was sooooo good, like a pastry shell instead of noodle. And to top it all off they gave our kids lollipops. The meal cost about the same as our burgers and fries dinner at the great wolf lodge lol!!!

Overall food was good. The miso soup was a little on the salty side. The udon was good, sushi was good, and the tempura as well. Enjoyed to nice atmosphere and the waitress was very attentive.Vegetarian options: Wife got the shrimp and vegatable tempura. She liked it.

A true gem of a sushi restaurant. It's an older restaurant but for a sushi restaurant, it has that authentic look and feel to it. The lady hostess/server was so sweet and friendly. She runs the floor on her own and works very hard. The food is really good, I had the short ribs and assorted nigiri, my kids had the tempura udon, OISHI!!!Give this place a visit, I will be back!

The sushi was not good. Salmon eggs smelled really fishy. Hope I don't get sick.
