Best Salvi food in the OC area, I always get the frijole con queso

The food is very good but the waitress there is terrible. We arrived at 6:49 and ordered food at the restaurant and the waitress said that it could only be taken out since they close at 7:30 and that she only took take out orders and when we saw they arrived people and everyone ordered to eat there and he didn't say anything to them, only to certain people that is discrimination because he only selected his clients, terrible service to the client, they should pay more attention to the service that that waitress gives ???

It's an older building so it needs some little upkeep but. It's small space. The food is great. The pupusas are delicious I always get the chicharron with cheese. They're piping freaking hot, even after 30 minutes after they've been picked up they're still super hot yet. But they're delicious tasty and homemade. Service is great They're always friendly when I'm placing my orders. Definitely need to visit them they're good

This place is absolutely disgusting! It's extremely filthy and doesn't look like they have deep cleaned the entire restaurant in a very long time. The owners must be frugal and don't want to hire a cleaning crew. Besides the awful service and subpar food they don't have refills on horchatas and wanted me to pay $5 for an entire drink. Their pupusas were alright, nothing special, the rice was terrible with too much salt. Cleanliness is very important when eating at an establishment. I don't know how they have passed the health inspections. The staff also didn't look like they had good hygiene. IF you don't mind eating at a filthy place that's dirty then you won't mind. Try not to sit at a table by the bathroom, that will definitely spoil your appetite. It smells gross. Take your business elsewhere.

The pupusas here are the best I’ve ever tasted. They have a soft texture, & you can taste the freshness. They have a wide variety of dishes on their menu. Come here for a 5 star experience in pupusas & other Central American flavors ???

The pupusas are tasty and so cheesy. The people there are genuine, and the food tastes genuine too. I love their chicken tamales and the chipilin as well. I love their nuegados too. Also the semita pastry is sweet and fresh. I highly recommend this place. I recommend paying cash for easy transaction and help small businesses. I visit this place frequent. I almost forgot. I love their pan con pollo. It tasted authentic too.

Pupusas are the perfect size. Not grease nor dry. Loved the queso con frijoles. Had some plátanos fritos con frijol y crema. Acompañado con una bebida de ensalada. Muy rico todo. Oh y una sopa de gallina. Rico!!

The pupusas are amazing, the sopa de rez and the sopa de gallina are both crazy good. El curtido can be a bit too spicy at times. Yesterday, I drove from Huntington Harbour area just to pick up dinner. We ate the soups during cold days and my son recovering from a cold soup is always a great cure. We ordered 4 pupusas, I specifically told the lady on the phone they are for 4 individuals to wrapped them separately. Today, my son tells me there is no curtido. Who eats pupusas without curtido. We love the pupusas a day or two days later toasted. I called to complaint, I spoke to "Saul" dude didn't even apologize. He sounded he didn't care but said he will tell someone. Now, last time, I ordered a young kid prepared the takeout and he did outstanding. This time, order dude got food ready and didn't put the curtido. WARNING , Miren la comida que ordena para llevar porque si no es completa como mis pupusas que no los dieron El curtido. Pupusas sin curtido no se comen por Salvadoreños. Hoy, hable a reportar a "Saul" vato no le importo ni dijo perdona. La comida es phenomenal pero chequeye la ordena primero. Gracias, Me deben una ordena de Cuatro pupusas revueltas, con "CURTIDO" I salsa.
