We ordered a cake and specifically asked with cream layer they say they are running low and we expected some cream at least but turned out it’s just all butter layer and after eating for a while it just tastes plain. A little disappointing in our end.

Bought 2 slices of durian coconut cake here and they both tasted dry, stale, and even SOUR filling. BEWARE of them selling old you OLD CAKE. I’d not recommend buying their cakes. They’re NEVER fresh. The cakes can sit in the fridge for a week before they get sold to you.

We visited Van’s Bakery located at 14346 Brookhurst Street in Garden Grove, California to buy a birthday cake. There were several cakes ready to go, and the staff customized the cake we chose with the birthday wishes we requested. They were efficient with our request and we were on the road quickly. The cake was beautiful and tasted delicious. I would happily come back to Van’s Bakery again.

Good small snacks and Vietnamese specialty store. Like a lot of stores in the area that serve the same things. The one thing they have that is nice is a selection of macaroons. I go here to pick up a snack or two when I visit the sugar cane juice store in the same center.

This bakery has been going down hill since the past 2-3 years. Driving for 45 min to OC to get the buche log cake for Christmas. Cake is dense and dry! And the price is ridiculous $40 for an 8 in log cake! I forgot that we didn’t like it last year, and forgot about it and picked up one for this Christmas! Very very disappointed! Never again. Will get the paradise cake from Kings Hawaiian bakery from now on. It costs $30 for a bigger cake and it tastes much much better, light and very moist!
We purchased our wedding cake from Van's Bakery. Van's Bakery staff was very friendly and helpful. The cake tasted freaking delicious.
They had us come in for a tasting, where we picked between 3 flavors, after they had use choose the size and tiers.
On the day of, they delivered the cake, and all of our guests loved it.
The cost is extremely affordable, the cake looked beautiful, and the cake was amazingly delicious. All of our guests complimented how amazing our cake tasted and we agree as well.
If you are looking for an affordable and great tasting wedding cake. I would 100 % recommend looking here.
