The chicken katsu was the most fresh and high quality katsu I’ve ever had! It wasn’t overly greasy and the meat was tender instead of overcooked like at so many other places. The bento box was packaged with care by the sweet staff and I was surprised by how huge it was. You will definitely have leftovers! The only thing I didn’t like was the thai tea; it was too bitter for my taste but everything else was amazing and had the best presentation!

The purple rice is so delicious! Portions are generous and food is delicious. The bento box offers a variety of things such as kimbap, mini sides, takoyaki and egg.

Food came out quick, and tasted even better! Great variety of food, from chicken katsu to tteokbokki to kimchi fried rice. My favorite is the shrimp crunch roll. Teresa provided exceptional customer service. Highly recommend this local business.

I walked in to Gingko today and the front of house was hella clean. I was greeted and immediately assisted with my phone in order.Teresa was super nice and helped get all of my order taken care of. An older gentlemen came out from the back and was thanking me for the large order.I almost left with out one of my items and Teresa ran out side to flag meDown and saved the day.We have come here before for catering and we will definitely be back again.The chicken, pork and rice slapped ?? Plenty of delicious sauce to go along with the order. Today was a win, kudos to the Gingko team.

This place is so delicious. High quality tender Katsu that isn't too greasy or made with substandard meat. The sides like purple rice and cabbage are fresh. Get a bento box and you can eat for two for $18. Everything has attention to detail, from the beautiful gingko takeout box to the freshness of their vegetables and the cleanliness of the restaurant. The price is also unbelievably good value for the large portion size. I hope the place gets a lot of business because it deserves all the accoladesParking: Lots of parking

THE BEST!HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!I came to this Gingo Katsu at 9562 Garden Grove Blvd, Garden Grove, CA 92844 to test their signature "Fish (Cod) Katsu". Price $18The menu was very striate forward and easy to follow. The place was very clean. The staff were very polite and helpful.Within 15-20 min my order was served, very fresh and hot in a beautiful nice box (see pictures).The fish was made both soft and crunchy. It tasted really good. The rice, sauce the salad tasted very good. The amount of salt/sodium in the food was just enough compared to American restaurants and food culture which are totally ignoring the amount of fat and sodium they add in their food and serve it to you which put you life and health on high risk!I also had a short conversation with the chef as I was very amazed over the quality, the taste of the food, the the excellent service!Total score: THE BEST!HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!Here are some pictures taken by me.

Man I love anything fried. They’re famous for their chicken and pork katsus. Make sure you when you order that you want they’re curry sauce. In fact order an extra curry sauce for additional dollar or you’ll regret it. No dine in just take out as of August 2020. Plenty of parking. Best Katsu in town!
