Xe Com Tam VH Food Truck

Late night dinner since just flew back to town and not much opens. This VNese food truck focus only 2 items (which has varies condiments choice), broken rice or vermicelli. I got the vermicelli with egg roll and grilled meat with sugar cane drink and got a free herbal drink. Service is easy, quick and friendly. The wait can be abit long and also if there a long line then the longer you waited. The food is good, tasty, warm and refreshing for the vegetables. The truck park in a parking lot, from 10am til late night, so plenty of parking spaces. It's outside setting so it can be cool in the summer but can be cold in the winter.

I am a tourist from another state who came here because I was curious about the food at this food truck. I was excited to order the special broken rice (The Special Plate). They really have a lot of grilled meat and side dishes in the portion. I feel very sorry that the seasoning is too sweet and too much sugar! Even in Saigon, Vietnam, where this dish originated, it is not as sweet as the food here! So this kind of sweet food is really not good for many people!

Pork is moist and tender. Egg roll crispy and fresh. There’s a line so be prepared to wait for a bit. Vibe is kind of like Vietnam where you sit outside and eat. Thank you

Dang this food truck makes really good com tam on wheels.. they r very generous on their portion n decent price too... u can order n eat at their mini stall

We just had to try it out, and it was delicious! I know I’m not Vietnamese however I’ve been to Vietnam four times now and this place tastes like food from Vietnam! We ordered the #1 special which comes with a soup and drink. Try it out!

My sister and I found this place by accident . We drove past it trying to go get desserts lol . We love broken rice dishes and thought a food truck that serves that sounds amazing so we stopped by.

We both ordered broken rice with pork chops and pork skewer with fried egg. $14+ tax and it was pretty damn good. The portion size was huge. It has the sauce inside and pickled veggies .It also came with a free tea drink. I remember the bag being pretty heavy . It was awesome . I would definitely stop by again whenever I’m in the area .

There’s no seating area so everything is to go. It’s located in the same parking lot as my thuan market . They accept card and cash . Bright yellow truck so you can’t miss it!

Idk why I was hesitant to try this place at first, maybe because I’m usually not a big cơm tấm person. But I’m so glad I gave it a shot today! It’s a cute yellowish food truck with cơm tấm as their main dish, and honestly, it blew me away.

I ordered the crab soup for $9 and the cơm tấm sườn for $13. The soup was thick, packed with protein, and super comforting.
The pork chop was a huge, juicy chunk, perfectly seasoned. The pickled veggies were crunchy with just the right level of tang, and the egg meatloaf (chả trứng) had such a unique flavor—definitely not your typical taste from other spots.

I also loved the little outdoor setup with mini tables and chairs. It gave off a chill, street-food vibe that made the experience even better.
