It was my first time there and was not expecting much but it surprised me how good everything was!! I haven’t had something delicious in so long :))) I ordered the beef noodles and the shaken beef garlic noodles, both truly delicious. I also really enjoyed the tea that was given. My only complaint was that the garlic noodles dish was a bit too greasy for me. However, I recommend coming here and trying their menu.

Tried their Thai hot pot & Beef hot pot. Both were really good! The Thai flavor was especially good. It came with a lot of seafood as well.
They also have a variety of tea options.
Restaurant was clean, & service was fast and friendly!

We love hotpot and usually go to Tasty Pot or Boiling Point. We decided to check out a local one instead of a chain and ZZ Hotpot House was so delicious! The hotpot is reasonable priced, has a good variety of fresh toppings, and the side sauces are great. We ordered a side of Napa for only $2.95 which was a huge serving and enough for 2 people.

The serve was friendly and we were seated promptly. The restaurant itself is clean and has a lot of tables. we were also given complementary iced honey kumquat tea which was sorefreshing!

We had a great experience and will definitely be back.

First hot pot experience and everything was great. Service was great as well. Got the beef pot and garlic noodles. Both were really good.

The service, food—everything was LOVELY. This spot is perfect for a cheap date or get together because the hotpots are around $20, including tax, and they're big enough to share and still get full. FREE DRINKS!! The free drinks were so good. Additionally, they had a range of spice levels for my weak spice level friends. LOVE this plan 10/10 would RECOMMEND.

I’ve been waiting for a decent Taiwanese hot pot spot nearby for a really long time and ZZ Hotpot House is definitely hitting the mark!

The ZZ Hotpot Special has the broth that’s about 80% similar to the classic Taiwanese 3 mom Stinky Tofu hot pot brand (三媽臭臭鍋) which is already a win in my book! It even comes with a piece of pork blood cake and a few slices of pork intestine, trying to represent the authentic taste. (Almost there as my point of view.)

The Taiwanese Spicy Hot Pot is served with beef slices by default, and unfortunately, they don’t allow substitutions for pork slices so I skipped it this time.

The Seafood and Japanese Hot Pot came with two fairly large shrimps, what a nice touch.

Veggies are generously piled under the hot pot, so you get plenty of greens in every pot.

They offer four different sauces each table for you to mix and customize to your liking.

Compared to Boiling Point, this place has a more diverse selection of Asian-style hot pots, including flavors from Vietnam, Thailand, Korea, Japan, Sichuan, Nanjing, and Mongolia. Right now, they have a happy hour deal (Monday to Friday, 11:00 AM – 5:00 PM) where each pot is just $14.95, and it comes with a free drink plus your choice of white rice or glass noodles, I consider super worth it!

This spot is definitely going on my go-to list for those lazy days when I don’t feel like cooking.

Such an underrated restaurant! 💗🍲

They offer a decent range of hotpot flavors and a bunch of other dishes as well! It was our second time coming and we were quite impressed. Compared to other hotpot places that we've been to, the flavors were pretty similar and had a decent amount of toppings. Our favorite part is that they offer a stamp card which is so unique!

* Beef Hot Pot: 7/10 - good amount of meat and veggies
* Thai Style Hot Pot: 8/10 - nice broth
* Honey Kumquat Tea: 9/10 - my family enjoyed it

We came when they first opened and there seemed to be only 1 person working during that time. Even though he was scrambling, he managed to serve all the tables efficiently. My sister and I believe he deserves more than he gets paid.

The place is a lot more spacious than we remembered so there are plenty of tables to sit at. It's located in a large plaza with a bunch of other restaurants so parking shouldn't be too difficult but can get crowded at peak times.

We'll be sure to return regularly and try all their other items!

Every time I’ve been to ZZ HOT POT, they’ve provided a free drink due to a promotion. Service is wonderful and the food is awesome. I actually prefer the sauces over Boiling Point. This restaurant is in the middle of Garden Grove, but worth the drive for me!

ZZ is the best. Food and service is amazing. My family and I love this place. I usually get their beef pot and enjoy it with their dipping sauces. All their other dishes are great too!

I would say the service was okay. Except, the female staff was so rude to us. I won’t comeback even i like the food there and i have been there a lot of times. Now I’m going to boiling point :)
