The Local Take & Bake Pizzeria

Got my "family" size pizza home and looks more like a medium with very little toppings. Usually this place is really good. I've ordered dozens of pizzas here but this one.....

I can not state which pizza is the best due to the fact that everyone has their own preference. The Greenwood Lake Pizza is one of my favorites. I also enjoy the veggie pizzas. The option to add or remove toppings from any pizza is great. There is also a lunch special available of a slice and soda (the slices are pleasing, lol). This establishment also makes dessert style pizzas, which are tasty. Not only is the environment clean, but the employees are friendly/ polite. The Local Take and Bake can be seen as a bit pricey, but worth it. If you are looking for quality ingredients and want something different in the world of pizza, I suggest The Local Take & Bake. Another great thing is that they accept EBT payment for take and bake only.As far as both locations being wheelchair, mobility impaired (ADA compliant), it is accessible, but the doors are manual open only, which can be an obstacle. The Cool, CA. Location has a low counter, which makes it easy to pay and receive your change and your order. The location in Garden Valley, CA, has a high countertop at which to pay and receive, but I would like to say that if you were wheelchair bound, the employees/owner would be helpful, even when it comes to getting the door for you.

The staff and the owners were very friendly, honest and welcoming. It's a very clean establishment, the prices are more than fair and reasonable. I would highly recommend this place and will definitely be coming back when in the area. I had a sandwich but chose to make it a wrap, garlic knots, and the pizza. All were amazing. This place is a gem and if you haven't been before make sure to stop by and give them a try. You won't regret it and it will make a easy lunch or dinner. Oh and I almost forgot they do offer keto and gluten free options as well.

Garden Valley Veggie pizza (small 13" for 3 people) was fabulous. Ranch dressing was cherry on the top. Chocolate-Banana Cheesecake was amazing too. With every bite of pizza/cake, I sensed that the ingredients were of top notch quality.

Vegetarian options: There is a decent amount of vegetarian options, be it pizza, lasagna or pasta. I am sure if you ask nicely, you can get things customized too - the owners seem to be very accommodating and kind.

Really good pizza! Way better then the take and bakes down the hill. Love that the toppings are perfectly distributed. The crust is also delicious. Staff is very friendly.

Pizza place in Garden Valley that has a lot on the menu to choose from including cheesecake, calzone and more. Newly renovated and now they have it so they can cook them for you which is very convenient. Looking forward to trying more of the menu. Better than the other local pizza place.

The best take & bake I have had.

A great place to grab quality food! Even when they are slammed busy, the food is awesome and service is good.I've only had one time where an order was slightly off but Terri more than fixed it. She's amazing! (There was no pepperoni but everything else was perfect).Their desserts are to die for! The lunch sandwiches are probably the best you can get. The pizzas and lasagna are our favorites!You cannot be disappointed in this quality!

Always a great experience

We were staying with my cousin here in Georgetown as we were evacuated from grizzly flats … we had your pizza and desserts … and all I can say is OOO MMM GGG the best cakes I have ever had , seriously… and such a nice friendly environment…. Never tasted such yummy berries … what a talent you have there … I’d literally come over here too get too have one of your cakes .
