Bomb!
Fried chicken was super tasty, not spicy at all if that's what you're looking for though.
Soy garlic ribs were really good too!
Both were way too much for two people. My wife and I are stuffed and there's enough for ones of to have lunch tomorrow.
Just have to wake up before she does and take it to work with me!

The food was good, but the service completely ruined our experience. The staff were visibly impatient and rude throughout our meal, especially toward our family because we had young kids. We did our best to keep things tidy and respectful, but they still made comments and acted annoyed — even complaining about our kids as we were leaving. This is the first time we’ve ever been treated this way at a restaurant. Unprofessional, unfriendly, and disappointing. We will not be coming back.

I was really craving malatang. It was so good and spicy… Nuroonggi seafood tang was great!!!! I would recommend to all my friends and family.

This is an unexpected gem. We stumbled across this place just driving by. We looked up their menu, which looked super yummy, and decided to give it a try. The food was remarkably good. It's a small menu, but you can tell that each item is curated with care and skill. We had the mala soup for two, adding glass noodles. Incredible. We are adding Atto to our list of favorites in the South Bay and work it into our family restaurant rotation.

Beautiful interior and even better food. First place I’ve been to that serves mala close to asia. I love the vibes and can’t wait for them to get their alcohol license😆 한국인이 정말 좋아할만한 식당임
The food was really flavorful and satisfying. Loved the cozy vibe of the place. It felt welcoming and relaxed. Service was friendly without being overbearing.

- Price: VERY GOOD

1. Price
At first you might feel likes it’s overpriced until you see malatang being $33. But this is for 2~3 people! In fact, this portion is more than enough for 2 people. You don’t see this kind of deal in a lot of restaurants. Keeping that in mind, all prices are very good deals!
2. Vibe & Service
Nothing to complain about. It is currently on soft opening.
3. Food
This place was marketing “Korean style” malatang before opening. As a Korean, traditional malatang generally does kick your palettes with full roundhouse. Their malatang was interesting because I could tell that they didn’t put too much mala but definitely didn’t lack any of classic malatang flavor. I wanted to make a comparison with another restaurant but to be honest, ATTO might be the first one around the town in terms of real Malatang. I’d say closest one would be Ruiji in Torrance. But they are not the same kind of malatang.
Guo Bao Rou was on point, exactly how I tasted before and expected. I mean it was great! But I wish i could’ve ordered this with Mala Xiang Guo.
My 6 yo son had Soy Garlic Pork Ribs. And yes it was good too!
4. Comment
I am DEFINITELY coming back here in the near future (maybe even this coming weekday)! I was very satisfied of the level of food quality, portion, and price.
I guess the only downside is that, to my selfishness as a Korean, malatang could be so much more “fun” to eat with any type of noodle they could add to their menu, especially ramyeon noodle, Chinese flat glass noodle, or udon noodle. They do have knife noodle as an option but it doesn’t cut for me. Flat glass noodle with ATTO’s malatang would be ABSOLUTE FIRE.

Tried multiple dishes from their menu and every single one of them were excellent.
I can see that they put a lot of care in the details, and both their chinese and korean-based menus were a perfect balance of authentic and easy to enjoy.
They have a beautiful space with ample seating and nice intimate lighting.
Looks like they are still waiting for their liquor license, and I'm super excited since their menu would perfectly pair with some beer.
Still coming back just for the food until they get that beer license though.
Oh and I wasn't able to take a picture of it but their GuoBaoRou is chef's kiss.

I went here for a friend reunion, and we tried all the menus here. We all loved and enjoyed all the foods here and especially, Atto’s Mara Xiangguo and GUO BAO ROU were the best! Period. If their Mara xiangguo is too spicy, I will recommend order their chicken soup with it because the combination of these two menu will make balance of flavors and really tasty. By the way, the service was good and also their interior was cute and trendy! I will definitely comeback here soon and I highly recommend this place for you all! :)
