I've had this place on my list for a while and finally had the chance to try it. To be honest, I thought the chicken was too heavily seasoned, but it was alright. I would suggest getting take-out since wait times can be pretty long if you order at the spot (~20 minutes on a Friday 3-4pm). The prices are steep, expect to pay around $15-16 for 8 pieces of chicken (without tax). Each piece isn't that large either, around your standard hot wings size (small-medium). Ambience isn't too great. It didn't feel very clean and it seemed designed for take-out. I wouldn't recommend dining inside. Service was also so-so.

I bought a coleslaw for 4.99$. And it looks like they got it and leftover half of it. Too suspicious. So I am gonna trash it out. This restaurant is changed after the ownership change. So disappointed and mad. BE AWARE FROM BBQchicken GARDENA. And the owner asked me put my personal info to their survey website without announcing why they need it. They are so suspicious.

I used to love this place but the girls that work here, specifically Sofia G made my experience really awkward. They were both sitting on their phones for a bit which was fine but I didn't know they also made and served the food. After ordering, I sat down and waited but she went to the back to make the chicken and I heard a sneeze, looked through the curtain, no gloves, sneezed next to the food, and was on her phone. Very unhygienic. Makes me wonder about how the food is prepared. I don't think I will be coming back here in the future. It took an hour to get the food too.

Pretty decent sized chicken wings, the 4 fire spice wings aren't that spicy though, I can taste the spice but it goes away pretty quick somehow But overall cool place and good wings A tad bit pricy though

We ordered togo and everything tasted really good! Chickens were really crispy and juicy. My wife and I enjoyed every single bite. We saved some spicy chicken to have it with white rice Loved Rose ddukbokie - it was spicy just spicy enough. And it goes so well with the original chicken! Kimchi fried rice, you cannot go wrong with this haha egg yoke is so creamy and goes so well with fried rice! Waitress seems pretty nice too. She double checked our order and made sure we have the right items

I usually get takeout and my go to's are the Rose ddeok-bokki and the Half and Half Boneless Chicken with golden original and choice of secret sauce or hot spicy. I believe it's a medium (16 pcs). I recommend the secret sauce. It's a sweet, tangy, and slightly spicy sauce that's delicious. Radish cubes also come packed nicely on the side to enjoy with the chicken. The Rose ddeok-bokki dish is my fav. It comes with chewy rice cakes paired with a creamy, rich sauce, fish cakes, and a half egg. This dish is a popular menu item and the portion is large and shareable. I love enjoying this meal with white rice. The amount of food for the price is very affordable. This location is in the Gardena Marketplace plaza across from Tokyo Central so there's plenty of parking.
I love the chain but I do not care for this location. It could have been an off day but our whole chicken came with one wing and a lot of pieces did not have bones, Lomita is a better location imo.

Food is Great! Very flavorful! The downfall of this place is the service! The cashier have no customer service skills! Very rude and no personality for some reason she just plain rude and it seemed like she don't like her job! From now on I'm going to the Torrance/Lomita Branch they are very helpful and respectful!

This place is an amazing hidden gem in Gardena on Artesia and Western in the Albertson's place close to In and Out drive thru. I've driven by so many times and didn't really notice this place until I was stuck in traffic one day and man that was a lucky day after all. The food is made to order so there is a bit of a wait but man is it FRESH. When I got my order it was hard not to dive in right away. I feel so sorry for any food delivery ppl that have to pick up from this place. It must be pure torture to smell this amazingly mouth watering deliciousness and not be able to take a bite. The chicken is so crunchy crispy flavourful and Fo Sho yo right !!!! Stop reading this and ORDER NOW!! I know what I'm having for lunch today.. If you haven't tried this place get to it before it's too packed.
