The food here is spot on! Definitely one of the better shawarma places I've been to for authentic shawarma- that includes places like Dearborn and Toronto. The flavors are on point. I got the chicken shawarma wrap and my wife got the falafel. Both were delicious. The chicken, the pickles, the toum..it all comes together really nicely. The falafel is actually flavorful, it tastes fresh, and it isn't dry. Fries were a nice touch. Guys behind the counter were really friendly too. And it took us probably less than 10 minutes to get our order.

MOST AUTHENTIC SYRIAN SHAWARMA I HAVE TASTED IN A DECADE! ✨ i love how hospitable Ahmad was with us. He was very welcoming and served us the biggest smile ever. I am an Indiana resident but considering moving to Gardena just for this Shawarma! We had the beef Arabic style shawarma plate and it took us straight to my hometown Syria. I totally recommend this family owned restaurant. The garlic sauce is creamy yet saucy with the perfect concentration of garlic flavor. When combining that with the pomegranate molasses, it is truly heavenly. I loved how fresh the humus was. Everything is fantastic!!!! Thank you Ahmad! ☺️

I have been ordering from here very regularly for the past 6 months at least. I am obsessed, by far one of the best Shwarma spots. Arabic Chicken Shwarma and Baba Ghanoush are to die for. Seasoned, cooked, and prepared to Perfection. Even the portion sizes for the price are generous and very filling. Excellent staff and vibe and AMAZING food. Thank you all at Borjstar! Keep it up! Highly recommend to at least try; you won't be disappointed!!

I stopped in because I did not want to cook tonight. I was greeted as I crossed the threshold with a hello, great big smiles and the aromatics of Middle Eastern spices. The family meal took a little longer than expected, however, the staff kept me updated on the process and gave me a special treat for waiting. I am a huge softy for great customer service. The food was cooked to PERFECTION. The whole chicken is delicious, falling off the bone tender and juicy. The mixed shwarma was EVERYTHING my taste buds craved. 10/10 Highly recommend.
