I bought an almond croissant yesterday, but how many days ago it made and did they sell it? It's extremely dry and has no taste. Don't underestimate the customer's sense of taste. It's better not to add "croissant" to the store's name.

This is a retro review for a visit back on February 28, 2023. The bakery is located at the food court of Tokyo Central (the one on Artesia Blvd. and Western Ave. ). They have both indoor and semi-outdoor dining areas. I like the semi-outdoor area as it has more space, sunshine, and fresh air. The staff are super duper friendly and polite. I got the Hojicha latte which was on the light end to me. I expected more nutty and a hint of smoky taste from the Hojicha. The curry ban would've been better if I heated it. But the curry tasted good regardless. That's something I would but next time. The cheese sausage with jalapeño was good. The sausage looked dry but actually not hard to take a bite of and flavorful. They change their bread/pastry selections over time and I have come back and tried the cream puffs. I had the match flavors and they were fresh like you ate a match ice cream. Would stop over and try other stuff!

The almond croissant was incredible. Not much of a sweets guy but it was perfect.

Stunning. Excellent. Absolutely top quality Tokyo and international-style baked treats that are worth every penny. There is nothing more to be said. Take the trip and enjoy the experience.

The good:I tried the rolled cake with strawberry. I love Japanese pastries and how they take European influences. They're often not too sweet compared with American sweets. The cake texture was really smooth as though the sugar and flour were very fine. It had a pound cake-like consistency. The cream was very light and fluffy rather than creamy. The size was also not too big so it made for a nice treat for a smaller dinner party. Rolled cakes are also so easy to cut! The bad: Some slices had more strawberries than others. The strawberries were smaller in this roll compared with other rolls according to my friend who got it. The interesting:My Japanese friend claimed this was a Japanese cake but I think it has European origins.

It's my favorite bakery. They have a variety of croissants, and it's a bakery that my kids love. Personally, my favorite is the donuts. They are incredibly delicious.

I love this place. We got couple of croissants, chocolate and almond, a while ago. They were delicious. I saw they had curry pan. I promised I'd come back and get the curry. Well, I'm glad I did. It reminded me of Japan. I loved it. I will return.

Service 0/5 really rude service April 8,2023 around 12-2pmI seldom give reviews below 3 stars, the attitude and service was horrible. There was this lady in line ahead, she was waiting for her friend and still wasn't sure what to order - so she kindly let me and one other person to go ahead of her.Cashier helped the first person with her order and drink. And when I was next (just wanted a drink today), she said "can you please let the person behind you go first, can you please let the person behind you go first"Twice in a rude manner, while the other customer was still waiting for her friend and still unsure of what to order. She repeated this again, worker doing nothing and made me stand there 5 minutes for the lady's friend to come and decide what to order (another worker handles the bread, rude worker was the cashier), let her pay first and then after let me order.Really odd interaction, that seemed almost personal.

I ordered the peach pie (which is flaky like a croissant) and an iced coffee. They are very friendly. The peach pie was not overly sweet, which I liked. It made the flavour of the peach stand out the most. The dough was also really good.

Fantastic bakery inside Tokyo Central. In my opinion, their selection is a bit more interesting than Hamada-ya (which is co-located at Mitsuwa). They have both savory and sweet options so you can't go wrong and I always try to get a few different items each time.

This bakery is tucked away inside a Tokyo Central near the small food court. It has a bunch of savory and sweet treats that are very delicious. However, they are fairly expensive, so we only come once in a blue moon for ourselves, or they make good gifts for friends and family. They do make a finite amount and sell out around mid-afternoon, so come early. One thing to note for everyone coming here, the level of sweetness in their baked goods is more suitable for the asian palate as it's less sweet than something you'd find in a more American bakery. It fits us perfectly, but be warned.

I actually went in this place hoping to try pastries they showed on the menu which are posted on photo gallery - heart ? as no Matcha pan or muffin, no Krone with matcha custard, no Honey Roast Nuts stuffed with chocolate, no Rhubarb Danish & the Brioche Bread were not available either. The lady I spoke with at the counter said those are put out during xmas time, so patience is a virtue, looking forward to it.On a positive note; I did buy the pastries on pics, great with tea or late. Pastries were semi sweet on the palate (were perfect) as well as the savory croissants for lunch. I found my fav to be the chocolate stuffed croissant ? Tomorrow morning going for a few more ??. The apple pie croissant was ok. Will try the peach croissant next time.Other than that, I was still happy with what I picked - the stuffed chocolate is a must with equal ratio chocolate to croissant. Staff is wonderful and place is beautiful filled with a variety of goodies for special occasion too. Impressed!
