Super yummy pastries, my first time trying their pastries I found them at the Calabasas Farmers Market. Recommended 💯.
My son's favorite bakery. Gets breakfast pastries almost weekly. His favs are the ham& cheese croissant, chocolate croissant and their baguette. Super friendly and helpful service.
Super tasty croissants made with health-conscious ingredients, which makes it that much better. The Melrose Farmer’s Market booth had the nicest and most considerate customer service who genuinely cared about our focus on healthier food options.
Some of the best pastries I’ve ever had. Services was amazing, good prices, and excellent bread. Seriously better than some Parisian bakeries I’ve been to.
Best organic Bakery pastries are really good
finally made it before they close... (I live in Long Beach and remember when it's too late). I'm so happy I did! we got so many things. The spinach and cheese croissant, the almond croissant, the ham and cheese croissant, the chocolate croissant, the apple turnover, the cinnamon bun and a loaf of sourdough. everything was so fresh and perfectly baked. there was very little ham in the ham and cheese but it oddly was enough. the crispness of the croissants is perfect. I thought the turnover was going to be thick and tough but it was soooooo light with layers of flaky goodness. the almond croissant had some Nutella and cream (I think) concoction inside and it made my eyes roll to the back of my head because it was so delicious.
my favorite thing by far (and thats saying a lot because everything was more perfect than the last) was the spinach and cheese croissant. we shared everything among our family and this made me wish I had gotten one for myself (2 if I'm being really honest)!
Top it off with the amazing service. the lady working was so nice and so patient with me while I tried to decide what to order. she was helpful and made good suggestions for me. I wish I had taken photos but honestly some things didn't even make it to the car without us taking a piece out if it lol Go quickly and try. You won't be sorry. 10/10 highly recommend
This is a commercial bakery that has a small retail counter. Fresh baked organic baked goods can be purchased and they are amazingly delicious. Cinnamon rolls and Almond Croisants are the best. They are perfectly balanced without being overly sweet.

We tried the butter croissant, chocolate croissant and baguettes for the first time at Torrance Farmers market. Both croissants were extremely oily and chewy. The baguette was okay.

Raspberry croissant was doughy and dry at the same time. If you're at the SMFM, do yourself a favor and go to Petitgrain Boulangerie instead.

I bought their bread and pastries at the Santa Monica Market where they keep a weekly stall. It’s always busy so it must it’s good. And it is but their baked goods are always going to be next-day fresh rather than same day fresh when buying at the market as they have to be baked the day before to be able to package them ready for the market day. That being said, the products are really good, especially their filled donut holes! I had both the chocolate filling and the cream filling and they’re both finger licking good.

The best croissant in LA county. I've had croissants everywhere from Paris to NY to Boston to SF to LA. It's obviously one of my favorite desserts. But this is hands down the most authentic and best. It rivaled the ones I had in Paris. No fridge needed, their pastries last about 10 days outside. I rebake the croissants for like 2 minutes in the oven and it's like crispy brand new.

Seems like I waited too long to write a review. The appeal of this bakery was it's proximity to home and the quality of their pastries (close to what I experienced in Paris). However, the quality has gone down since I found out about the place around December last year. Since then, I visited their bakery multiple times and once at the Torrance farmer's market.
Their product used to be consistent every time I visited every 1-2 weeks. However, I went hiatus for 3 months and was shocked to come back and notice the significant decline in quality! The pastries are the same price, but the amount of butter they put is unimagineable! They have nutrition facts on their site, but it's probably not accurate anymore. The croissant oozes with molten butter. :( Not to mention, the shapes are also odd and it doesn't taste as fresh as I remembered it. Either the owner went on vacation (and the staff haven't been following the original recipe) or management completely changed.
I'll wait some weeks and try again (then maybe update this review). If the quality is now the new norm, although unfortunate, I'd have to move on to another bakery. Even if it means driving 10-15 minutes more...

Yesterday, the croissants were unbearably oily. I have gone to this store multiple times in the past and this never happened before. Did management change or maybe employee training went wrong? It was really disappointing, and I might need to unfortunately just look for a new bakery if the problem continues.
