Japanese comfort food. I enjoyed the atmosphere. I ordered the salmon it was very salty could not taste the salmon. As long as they focus on quality this could be a great place to enjoy Japanese comfort food. The okonomiyaki didn't seem freshly made. It seemed packaged frozen. My advice to management and chef focus on quality and freshness and this can be a great place for Japanese comfort food.
Great place for Japanese set meals! The 3 of us accidentally ordered 4 sets (we thought Vegan Combo was some kind of appetizer mix) so we spent a little more among us and got really full.

Menu is extensive, lots of sets, the soba is solid, and the beef is actually pretty decent quality.
They won't dazzle with flash or impress high rollers, but Fukugawa is a local classic for a reason.
