I ordered a loco moco and it was bad. Overall it was underwhelming with very little flavor. It was under seasoned and lacked anything special. My friend ordered beef teriyaki and they brought out a cold steak and drizzled teriyaki sauce on top from a container right at the table. It was my first and last visit.

This is some of the better Hawaiian food you’re gonna find in South Bay and that saying a lot because there are many quality Hawaiian restaurants in the South Bay
Thank you, Gardena bowl coffee shop for your Killah food, island size portions, and Your island size Wolcome

Gardena Bowl is a family favorite! I’ve been coming here since I was a kid, and it’s never lost its charm. The food is always amazing—comforting, flavorful, and consistently delicious. Their fried rice is top-notch, the oyako donburi and chicken katsu always hit the spot, and the banana pecan pancakes? Absolutely irresistible. If I lived closer, I’d be here every single day.

I took my vehicle to the transmission shop so figured I would get some breakfast. I figured nobody could mess up some breakfast. WRONG. The breakfast was the nastiest of my 50 yr history here on earth. The food was cold. The bacon and pancakes were nastyyyy. Then they had Smuckers syrup that you would give a person for takeout. The butter was the same way. $18 wasted. I should have waited to get home or found a Denny's, Norms or IHOP. This ain't the spot to get breakfast. I will never go back here

Talk about a hidden gem! We hit up Gardena Bowl for some games and had a fantastic time. The place has a charming, throwback atmosphere that feels welcoming and genuine. While it might be a bit older with a limited number of lanes, that just adds to its classic appeal. We had a great night of bowling and good food, making it the perfect spot for a casual, fun evening.
Ordered the kimchi bacon fried rice with fresh squeezed orange juice. The portion was massive and the food tasted great. I’ll definitely come back.

I went here for the first time maybe 20 years ago and the same friend I went with then recently suggested we go here for brunch. The only time I had been here, I had grilled Saba for the first time. I always called this bait 😂 but it was amazing. I tried the Chicken Katsu Donburi this time and it was good as well. Service was ok, had to ask for our drinks to be brought after our food arrived which is the reason for 4 stars for service.
Granted they were busy but the servers also seemed to have some regular customers that they chatted with multiple times while we were there which might have had their focus and attention. Other than that, great food and atmosphere, would def go here again to try more menu items.
Don't forget about bowling 😁 They also have a decent sized billiards room and small video arcade for the kiddies.
Sweet & Sour Spareribs the closest to my Mom's recipe always hits the spot.
