I've been here once before a few months ago it was mid.Today , I arrived at 11:53am & left at 12:17pm due to no one taking our food order. The place was not crowded , maybe 5 tables occupied with small groups , only one actually had food on the table. They also have a super annoying robot that goes around bringing drinks. I'm used to these robots at other establishments but this one plays loud music & the voice is super muffled , sounds like you're listening to an annoying radio commercial. Total vibe killer.

Another restaurant where the reviews are all over the place. I can only talk about my experience but I was very impressed with the food tonight. After lots of back and forth trying and decide where to go for my daughter's birthday, we decided to try Kozo based on my son's recent visit here with his friend. There were only 2 parties here Sunday night around 7:30. We all decided to order AYCE for $38 even though you're limited to 3 rounds and some premium items are restricted to the 1st round without an additional charge if you want more. Still, there are many unrestricted items so I'm not sure why some people were getting bent out of shape with the low ratings. They should have asked for clarification because you can order a ton of food in those 3 rounds if you choose to do so. The four of us were stuffed after the second round. The fatty tuna(toro) was pretty good but the yellowtail was superb. Buttery and fresh, it was much better than the overpriced sashimi they sell down the street at Tokyo Central. The lobster roll had some huge chunks of lobster (probably langostinos though) and were tasty though on the spicy side. My son favored the muscles and garlic ponzu salmon. Impressive for an AYCE place. Service was very good. The workers were pleasant and helpful. They helped make our celebration a success. We ended our meal with free ice cream provided with a Yelp check in (each person needs to check in individually). I really hate to see those bad reviews saying this place is a rip off and you can't order enough food. Just ask to make sure your order is acceptable. Or fill out your order sheet and they'll correct it if you've put excessive amounts of limited items. Nobody should be leaving starving unless you require a ridiculous quantity of food. I know we'll be coming back.

This place is totally misleading. It's $38 for the all you can eat sushi.....But really you can only get 3 orders ( 6 pc) 3 times. So that's 18 pieces total. It's way cheaper to just order those pieces. Would not recommend a place with such shady practices!!!!!This was my favorite spot to come when I just ordered a la carte. Now I never come again and never recommend to anyone else. There's a real all you can eat by home depot in Torrance called Ginza

What a joke! AYCE total 3 round each round limited to 3 items so total 9 items is all you can get from the AYCE.. don't get tricked... ginger on the table is also rotten.. not fresh.. worst experience you could have.. table also very sticky.

No doubt the best ayce sushi in LA possibly the entire California and the rest of US. Sushi quality and freshness give many expensive sushi bar in LA a run for their money. For $37 per person, there are great variety of sushi and cooked dishes to choose from , not to mention sashimi set is also part of ayce . Not sure why this place is not packed , could be due to lack of advertising . Would highly recommend anyone to come and try it .

The ayce can either be solid or mid depending on what you like to order at a ayce sushi spot. My friends really like this place but my experience here was mid. Pros:-Wide variety of appetizers (Garlic Butter Clams are bomb)-Sashimi -Solid selection of nigiri + some unique options like engawa & whelk -Premium items (fatty tuna, blue fin tuna, red shrimp specifically) Cons:-More "Americanized" rolls -Inconsistent -Warm raw fishExplanation:Overall, the meal satisfied my sushi cravings but for $40/person there's other ayce sushi spots I'd pick. I personally was not a fan of the sushi roll option but the nigiri option was good...one thing in particular I really liked was that they had sashimi! Yes some of the nigiri & sashimi were warmer than usual for raw fish but please kindly note that my fiancé and I did not get food poisoning. UPDATE - I believe they might've changed their name to something else recently!

they were a bit understaffed (who isn't right now) but handled it well outside of the initial seating. the food was pretty good. the menu was a little limited but quality wise it did well. it's not too far from my house so i'll be back

I ate here for late lunch on a weekend and it was pretty empty. We were seated immediately and got an AYCE meal for two. There are three rounds where you can order food and there are per person limits for some of the items for instance the sashimi is limited to six pieces which is honestly rather generous and it was appreciated. I am a s***** for rainbow rolls so I got a lot of that in the first round and they were pretty yummy. The nigiri was good as well though I would avoid them and stick to sashimi since they try to fill you up with rice as is standard AYCE sushi practice. The sashimi was good and the fusion rolls were creative and harmonious as well. The service was good and there is a robot rolling around that was bringing apps to other tables though the inside seemed a little bleak. Overall a pretty solid AYCE sushi experience!

Pros: food is great. 10/10Cons: staff and seating is limited. Currently only booth and bar seating available. Might have to wait and split your group if you have 10+ people.

Really delicious, low key, hidden restaurant in the plaza that also offers AYCE during the evenings! The following items are what we ordered:1. Shrimp Tempura 2. Mixed Tempura3. Chawanmushi - order before you sit down, worth it!4. Dragon Roll5. Baked Mussel 5 pc 6. Inari

The quality of the food, service, and atmosphere was horrible. The faces and body language of the people already sitting and eating should have told me everything I needed to know. The wait was long as well. All 3 of the servers were were rushing because they were greeting, taking checks, and just all over the place. When we finally got a seat it took a while to be served. When I got part of my order I already knew it was a disaster. I can't even describe the food in a way that would give the full picture. I ordered salmon skin and it was like eating flakes of cement. I am just praying that I don't get sick from eating what I did eat. They really need to just give it up and let another business lease the space. I don't even do this review thing, but I feel like it is time for a honest review and not one they added themselves. I am being 110% just go somewhere else to eat.
