I got to try their knafeh. In my honest opinion it was not very good. This is my 3rd time trying it and nope I would not recommend. The store employee was helpful, put syrup on the side. But taste and texture are not good. The other sweet.. don't know the name, (puff pastry filled with pistachio) was better but sadly not worth the calories either
Tried the cheese and ashta knafeh as well as the halawet el-jeben — unfortunately, all were really disappointing. We couldn’t even finish them. Based on the storefront, we expected something authentic, but it’s clearly not the original store it claims to be. The quality just wasn’t there. Definitely wouldn’t recommend. That said, the service was good and the staff was friendly.
One of the best if not the best sweet sweetheart in California. The employee inside is very nice and courteous and will take time to explain everything if you have questions about different Arabic sweets. The prices are very reasonable and the presentation is amazing
Not the original Hallab not close to the quality. The whole store is an imitation of the notorious Hallab brothers in Tripoli lebanon.
All who gave them 5* don’t have the slightest idea on what the Hallab sweets taste like. With all due respect. If this store is 5* than you will give the original a 100*
In Lebanon, Hallab Sweets are among the best of the best for over a century!
I was told that they opened a branch in Anaheim, California.
On my way back from seeing a client in South Orange County, I stopped by to check it out —and sadly, it was a major disappointment!
I took a tray of Kneifeh home —and it was by far the worst Kneifeh I have ever had, and I’ve had it all over the world!
I didn’t check out the other sweets —but if they are as bad as the Kneifeh, they should be ashamed of themselves for muddying the Hallab brand!

This pastry shop is absolutely amazing and is a must visit every time I am in Anaheim. The pastries are out of this world. The cashier is very inviting every time I am in the store; he is a great guy. Hallab is the best !

We tried more than four different kinds of pastries, and the Kunafe stood out as the best among them. Unfortunately, the others didn't meet our expectations. The Mamoul was overly buttery, and the Halawet Jiben was dry, hard, and not very tasty. While we appreciate supporting local businesses and authentic cuisine, our experience didn't quite match our expectations.

Best Lebanese dessert in southern California. Tried Halawet riz, Halawet el jibn, jazarieh, maamoul and more. It all tasted authentic and fresh.

I ordered two pieces of konafa and three small pieces of pistachio dessert. The cashier charged me $24, but after I left, I checked my bank account and saw that I was charged $28.96, which is $4 extra. It was a bad experience with that store, as the konafa wasn’t fresh and tasted bad
