Wow, I just had the worst matcha milk tea from here. It was pure sugar with a TON of matcha powder. I watched the girl make it and there was no type of measuring of the sugar or matcha. It was all kinds just dumped into the cup and shaken. I am now suffering from the worst headache ever from the sugar despite only finishing 1/3 of the drink.

Went there Friday night 2/18 my first time trying this Gardena location, there was only one girl working the counter and making the drinks, she was very attentive and polite girl deserves a raise for handling it all up front by herself , I got the garlic noodles with shrimp and also the shrimp fried rice and two drinks everything was good

This place has amazing service! It was very good as well and I would highly recommend! I don't know why this location has 3 stars when the service was GREAT! The gentleman in the front I believe his name was Sodi was very helpful and gave good recommendations! I also recommend getting the house coffee, he recommended that to me and it tasted amazing, it wasn't too sweet or too strong it was perfect

Where's the zero star? Turned us away because they were closing in 1 hour and told us that there isn't enough time to make our food and eat there. Plenty of restaurants nearby that will serve you better food and won't kick you out early. Obviously the managers don't care for as much business as possible and love to pay their employees to stand around for an extra hour of pay. Never coming back.

They used to have more options before. Now it seems like they simplified their menue. Still delicious but no pho?! Ooof.

I'm sad more than I'm mad. I saw an ad for this place somewhere online and it looked amazing. I took a screenshot and eyed it for a bit. Finally had the time And wanted to order. Tried to call and the phone was not being answered...and there was a recording telling me it was busy. So I went over and ordered in person. REALLY disappointed that their online menu seemed to have coffee milk tea, and that was no more. Really wanted the wings on their menu and that was no more! So I got the garlic noodles with veggies and Cajun fries. Was so excited to eat the garlic noodles to see plain fried noodles with a few pieces of broccoli and some faint number of mushrooms. They should just rename it "Broccolli Mushroom fried noodles". The garlic was not really there. The Cajun fries were ok but what fries aren't alright. I'm sitting here about to cry because this is just such a sad meal. I'm never coming here again or believing social media!!!!

Just this past fall Hiccups Gardena introduced a new barista concept at their store. They now open at 7am daily and offer up Hiccups Barista coffees as well as croissants that are bahn mi style! I love croissants and was super excited to hear that they were offering these pressed croissants. Base price is $6.95 and choices include Pressed Croissant with Sausage, Pressed Croissant with Egg or Pressed Croissant with Cha. They only offer these croissants till 12pm. After 12; it's their regular menu with noodles, fried rice and appetizers. I recently tried the Pressed Croissant with Sausage and was definitely a fan. The croissants are nice and buttery! There are two lean pieces of chicken sausage inside along with laughing cow, cucumber, sliced carrots, cilantro and house sauce. I've never had a bahn mi style croissant. Though it's my first time; it will definitely not be my last as I really enjoyed this! I've also been to this location for lunch and enjoyed their Garlic Noodles with Shaken Beef as well as their Popcorn Chicken. I've also gotten their boba drinks. I tried Fruity Booty with mango, strawberry and peach. The lunch options as well as the boba are also quite tasty! I would definitely say though that in visiting this location; one must try the croissants. It's the only Hiccups Barista for now in the South Bay and the croissants are amazing. I can't wait to try their barista coffees next!

Good food. They just may not have everything listed on the menu. They also can't seem to make some recipes without MSG

Today was my partners and I first time going here. We looked at the menu for about a few minutes due to me never having Hiccups. Whatever white guy that has all the black tattoos on his arms asked if we were ready and we said no. He walks away. My partner goes to the restroom and he comes back to say "so you ready to order now?!" I tell him no I'm still looking. He was an a****** and sarcastic with almost everything he said! Another customer came in and asked if the drink was correct that she picked up and he made a smart remark then corrected hisself. I ordered two drinks for my partner and I. After ordering, I asked about the sweetness levels since I didn't see it previously. He responded "how didn't you know. well you've looked at the menu for ten minutes already." I asked him "what"? He responded saying "nothing" due to my reaction and answered my initial question. Customers come in to get treated with kindness and not deal with assholes who don't like their jobs. Sir if you see this, the tea was horrible just to let you know!

I love this place for their garlic noodles with veggies. Also if you're into coconut try the coconut coffee. So good. I had a pleasant experience with Marina she was very nice and hospitable when I walked in and we got our order in a timely manner. Good customer service.

I had the chicken fried rice and the madacamia coffee (it has coconut milk) and both are delicious. I thought it was expensive but then I saw the big portion they gave us.They give you your food in takeout containers but you can eat in as of right now.

Two words....HOUSE COFFEE. Omg so much better than Starbucks or Philz. Rich and smooth, delicious, and POTENT! The caffeine buzz kicked in after a few sips. Seriously blew my mind. I've been following Hiccups on IG for a while now and have always been a fan (the food is fantastic!) and I was ecstatic to hear that they were starting a Barista concept featuring an artisanal cafe line with high quality roasts. The owner is a very kind gentleman and he came out to chat with me about his passion and inspiration behind the concept, and wanting to delight the community with finely crafted brews. They even make their creamer in-house. It's these little details that really add up to make an amazing product where you really can taste the difference. I'm so sad there's not a location near me in DTLA (hint hint to hiccups...time to expand!!! ;)
