The $150 live sashimi course is not worth the price.

The spicy brisket soup was satisfying. Not too salty and not too spicy. The glass noodles were the perfect chewy texture. The purple rice was amazing as well. The side dishes were fresh and crispy. I especially liked the kimchi. Highly recommend the dumplings. Hard to find this quality.

First time trying this place I ordered the bulgogi which comes with a soybean stew. The banchans were okay. The bulgogi wasn't as sweet as most places, which is what I prefer. You can taste the mirin. The small pieces of meat were okay, but the large pieces were super chew that I had to discard. The stew was okay. I do not recommend the bulgogi. I may someday go back to try something else off the menu.

Came here based on good reviews on Google looking for a Korean restaurant in Gardena and wasnt disappointed?Friend made reservations for 7 people for a birthday party and the waitresses were very friendly and helpful as this was our first time here.
Ordered the Spicy Beef Brisket with Seafood, along with the Beef Bulgogi to share and others ordered the Bibimbap which looked real good?
Complementary Banchans are excellent, they came around several times asking if we needed refills on water and any if the banchans too.
Food was excellent and more on the larger portion size(I think the soups and plates are for sharing fyi) which we did end up sharing through the meal.
Korean soju and beer are also served here along with fresh octopus and sashimi that are market price.
Would highly recommend as this is a newer restaurant only opened for 6 months? Forgot exactly what the server said. Limited English spoken and customers were mainly Korean so you know its legit. 5 stars??

I've been traveling to the western United States with my parents and have been eating only at Korean restaurants for two weeks, and this place is really the best. The food tastes better than any Korean restaurant. In particular, the Sundae Gukbap really reminds me of Busan.

A new restaurant in town, at where Kyodong Noodles used to be. Friendly staff and tasty soups, giving us a decent Korean comfort food option in South Bay. Even the side dishes (a few types of kimchi) were great. Hope they last long. :)

The banchan's and food we ordered was very good. The portions are sufficient for 2 people. At other Korean restaurants I have tried, they rush you to eat so they can have greater turnover for a table, especially at BBQ places where they dump the entire order of meat on the grill at one time. Although this is not a grill place, there service was very good and I didn't feel pressured to eat and leave as soon as possible.

Live halibut sashimi very good.
Jagalchi is a Korean comfort food restaurant. Although the menu is not as extensive as other Korean restaurants in the area, the food is decent. The owner is very friendly and provides excellent service. However, the prices are higher than other places in the area and the portion sizes are on the smaller side. The free appetizer is standard, but I wish there were more options. I'm deducting one star due to the pricing and portion ratio.Quick tips: Jagalchi is located right next to Grand Fish Tacos & Ceviche, and there are plenty of parking spots available in the same plaza."

The food tasted really good. As a Gukbap lover, this is now my go to restaurant. The side dishes were all really delicious and the pakimchi was so so good. Highly recommended.
