Tried both the Omakase and the special nigiri. The sauces on the omakase might be a little strong at times but was more interesting. The price is good for either with the uni and ikura. Would come for the omakase.

This place is such a hidden gem!! I’ve been here a couple of times and twice in the last 30days. I had the omakase both times. It so good and you can’t beat the price. 14pieces of nigiri with miso soup and the delicious chawanmushi for $60!! And it’s really good sushi!!! I’ve had quite a few omakase in the South Bay and this place is a repeat hands down.

I've been here many times when prior restaurants occupied this space. This was the first time trying Kanpach Sushi and Sake.
I got the No. 1 sushi combo. I also ordered the NegiToro HR. ($15)
My wife got some assorted sushi, shrimp tempura, and soup. The Miso soup was amazing, filled with veggies and so good.
I ended up ordering a few more pieces of sushi. It was also high quality and tasty. I appreciated that they make smaller rice nigiri, so there is a better balance of flavors.
Be sure to try try the Abalone, the scallop and the salmon nigiri. Those were my favorites!
The service was excellent and the overall atmosphere was very reminiscent of Japan. This is our new favorite sushi spot!

This is a solid sushi place. The ima sale is really good for the price. No frills. No fancy extra - just good quality fish and rice.

Fantastic spot for a great and fair priced Omakase. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. A very authentic experience. I will definitely come back to this location.
