I went to the Local Place. They were serving breakfast only. I bought some great pastries to go. They had mochi donuts strawberry and matcha flavors, 3 flavor cupcakes, passion fruit cake, guava pastry. The selection is plentiful and everything looks so delicious, it was hard to choose. Everything tastes wonderful and flavors are superb. (Sorry I didn't take any photos)
Kings Hawaiian Bakery and Restaurant (The Local Place) in Torrance is a slice of Hawaii on a plate! There are so many amazing bakery items that are all unique to Hawaiian King's, like my favorites: Dobash, Lilikoi Crunch, Guava, and the Paradise cakes that are so light and airy! The malasadas, volcanos, fruit tarts, mochinuts, and croissants are all excellent choices, too! There is so much to choose from, and of course, the main menu is also filled with Hawaiian locals' favorites! If you are looking for a full service version, the Hawaiian King's Restaurant and Bakery located on Sepulveda is the main restaurant. You will likely encounter a longer wait, especially on the weekends, but you can't beat the ohana style atmosphere!
This food here is heavenly!!! Best islander flavors and lots of freshly baked desserts to choose from! Prices are decent and they even serve Hawaiian breakfast!! They got musubi and Portuguese sausage!! The ohana packages are worth it! They include entrees and lots of sides. My favorite is the Hawaiian chicken!! Teriyaki beef is also amazing!! We called in our order and paid over the phone. Easy to order, it was bagged and ready when we arrived! No hassle or lines just grabbed our bag and go! There's a parking lot right behind the restaurant.
First time at King's Hawaiian Bakery and Restaurant. I was really looking forward to eating their fried chicken and I found it a little bland. In MY humble opinion the chicken was lacking seasoning. The spam masubi was on point. The rice was perfectly cooked with a nice slab of Spam.I will have to try their other location.

If you are from the Islands ? you can appreciate the menu! The entire menu! The French toast, saimin, Portuguese sausage, the cakes! Highly recommended ?
Whenever I'm in Gardena/Torrance, I have to get the miso salmon bowl with veggies! It's the best!! For dessert, I love the guava cake or the paradise cake. My son loves the mochi donuts and the loco moco. It's da best!

They have the best fried chicken plate.... yummy!!! The chicken is so tender and juicy, the potato salad is tasty and the rice makes the dish unforgettable!!! Definiately getting this again!! The place is small but nice, clean but better for take out because the order line is directly as you enter.

I love it here. My go to is the spam musubi. I also get some of my cakes from here. I love that I can order online for pick up because sometimes the lines can get long m

Everything is so good here. It's like high end Hawaiian plate lunch and more. Deserts are to die for. They also serve pineapple soft serve. No need to go to Disneyland.
