Grabbed takeout for a large group. The lady who took my order on the phone was very organized and got the order right the first time. And the food was prepared quickly and was delicious. Definitely recommend the Miso butterfish!

The food was amazing, portion sizes are generous. Was seated pretty quickly for a weekday lunch hour. I ordered the katsu chicken sandwich 😋. Will definitely come back.

The miso butterfish from Ladybug is my favorite. They give you 2 nice pieces of fish rather than just 1 like the other places in the Gardena area. The marinade on the fish is great as well. Even though Ladybug has been around for over 15 years(not at this location), I feel that this place is a hidden gem.

From the moment I walked in, this restaurant exceeded every expectation I could have had. The ambiance strikes the perfect balance between cozy and elegant—warm lighting, comfortable seating, and a layout that feels intimate without being cramped. Every detail, from the carefully curated music to the subtle décor, makes you feel like you’ve stepped somewhere special.
The service was absolutely phenomenal. Our server was attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely passionate about the menu. They guided us through the selections with patience and provided perfect pairing suggestions for drinks and sides. It’s rare to find staff who are both professional and personable, but here it feels effortless.
Now, the food. Oh, the food. Each dish arrived beautifully presented, showing clear thought and care in preparation. The flavors were vibrant and perfectly balanced—fresh, rich, and complex without ever being overwhelming. From the appetizers to the desserts, every bite was a revelation. The ingredients tasted incredibly fresh, and the seasoning was impeccable. You can tell the chefs truly care about their craft.
Portion sizes were generous, but thoughtfully done—you leave satisfied, not stuffed. And while the menu is creative, it still offers options for those who prefer classic flavors. The desserts deserve a special mention: each one felt like a decadent work of art, not just something sweet to finish the meal.
Overall, this isn’t just a restaurant—it’s an experience. The combination of exquisite food, attentive service, and welcoming atmosphere makes it a standout. I will absolutely be returning, and I can confidently say this is a five-star establishment in every sense of the word. Highly, highly recommended.

It was our first time at the Ladybug Cafe and it was good! We met family there and enjoyed the food and company. We had a variety of dishes...the Lau Lau, sweet and sour ribs, and teriyaki salmon. The portions were huge and we all had to have to-go boxes. Our service was great! Our waiter, Jason, was so nice and friendly and came over often to check on us.

I got a chicken and kalbi combo with half roll
I lived the kalbi and the chicken was cokoked well and moist. The California roll was good and decent size.
The loco moco was good the beef pattie is more meatloaf like then beef patties but still good.
The fountain drinks were good and not tasting like only carbonated water.
The little salad was fresh and i liked the dressing in it.
The guy who helped me was very kind and sweet. He also explained everything well.

Restaurantji Recommends
When we arrived , their was two families to waiting be served and after a while one family left because nobody helped them get their toddler chair, after they left, a server finally came over and asked us what we wanted to drink. Only Kiki was the only one helping while the rest of the staff stood behind the counter talking.
