Lee’s tofu was a family favorite, we used to go every sunday but hadn’t been back in a while. (you can probably find my review i posted here a couple years ago— it was great.) I don’t know if they changed ownership, management, whatever but we went today and it was horrible. The lady at the front was not rude to us, but she was rude to her employee (a young latino boy) she was rushing him, yelling at him, snapping her fingers at him. poor boy looked so confused due to the language barrier between them. you do not treat your employee/coworkers like that! Extremely disrespectful. Now onto the service, the employees before (a young gentleman and young girl) were always so kind and attentive. they would check in on us always and refill or banchan every so often. this lady just took our order, delivered the food, brought us the bill and that’s it. Did not bother to stop by once in a while. I did not think she deserved a tip… but as we were leaving— already at the door, she stopped me and demanded a 15% tip. I felt embarrassed to be stopped and had no choice but to give the tip. It’s not that i’m cheap, but tips are NOT mandatory and you get tips based on your service. she did not check in on us, and hearing her yell at the employee really made the atmosphere extremely uncomfortable in there. it’s a shame. we will not be back!

Have been coming here for 15 years and they have apparently changed management and/or chefs. It formerly had our favorite kimchi, but something has changed and the new one is no better than store bought.

This is $140 worth of food?????? There is no way in hell…. I am beyond livid, we have eaten at Lee dine in before but this time we ordered takeout with a newborn at home and why would they fill half of the containers with cabbage???? This is $30 worth of proteins each???? Never spending my hard earned money here again. I also called in to let them know and they did not offer any way to make it right.

I love the spicy pork tofu soup.
Went for the first time, and took my kid. We loved it!!! The waitress was super nice and she kept refilling our banchan!!! Never had that before. We will most definitely go back!!!
9/7 update- still my favorite. Love their banchans and their soon tofu soup is delicious
August 2025 update- they changed the menu and the portions of the bbq. Now they give you a pile of cabbage below the meat- so they give you less meat. Normally im stuffed and take meat home- not anymore. Honestly disappointed. I got my usual spicy pork and this time, they jjst added hot sauce ontop of the pork, when before it was mixed in. Might not come back, for the price- your better off going to an all you can eat koream bbq 😪. My banchans were not even refilled unless I asked- when normally the older lady just brings more because she sees its low/ or out.

The food is delicious and nutritious. The food is flavorful and well seasoned. I ordered the half & half ribs and pork BBQ spicy. The spiciness comes from a delicious sauce that pours on the meat after it's cooked. The sides are excellent and fresh. My friend and I are all of our sides and we walked away happy and satisfied. The pricing is more than fair for the quality and amount of food you get

If you are looking for the mean ahjumma experience, go here. Must be new owners. The tip off was the new American style spoons and the smaller portion kalbi on a big bed of cabbage. So disappointed with the unwelcoming service we received. We have been going to this Lee's tofu for many years as a favorite meeting place. I drove over an hour to get there. Now, there is a lady that is so rude. She rolls her eyes if you ask for both tea and water. She said that we could only have one or the other in a rude tone. My young niece was afraid to ask for anything since they were reprimanded. I paid over $38 a person for a scary dinner. She charged me 18% service fee (5 people) and didn't mention it, so I overpaid with a second tip. The rudeness was almost comical. We tried to laugh it off and said this is the last time we will be coming here. So sad!

I ordered the beef short ribs and tofu hot pot and the seafood tofu hot pot. The beef short ribs had a fishy smell, and the shrimps in the seafood pot were soft and had no meat. I personally didn’t think they tasted good.
The soft tofu soup is great, I think I will just order the tofu pot next time.

A small but beautiful restaurant. The food is diverse and delicious. The store is conscientious and will remind you that the portions are too large. The variety of Korean side dishes is small, which is a small regret.
