The best tofu hands down. I’m from Northern California and was used to getting fresh tofu from my friends shop, San Jose Tofu in Japantown. Sadly, he retired and I thought I’d never be able to get fresh tofu again. I was so pleased to find Meiji Tofu! The tofu is incredible and they also carry hard to find items like age tofu and okara. I just wish it was closer since I live in Chino Hills!

First discovered Meiji from a friend and their soy products are as good as you can get in LA. Our favorites are the zaru and supreme tofus. I often eat the zaru tofu as a dessert (just add your favorite maple syrup)! It is hard to go back to regular supermarket tofu once you've had Meiji's tofu. I have not found another place that has the same flavor and texture.
Just be careful not to buy too much at once as the shelf life is quite short.

Warning: Meiji Tofu does not make their own fried Tofu (Age Tofu), we were shocked to find what they packed for us..Age Tofu made by Shirakiku that contains a "bioengineered food ingredient." We were very confused so we e-mailed, but no reply. Makes me wonder what else is fraudulent. A Tofu master..really???
It’s just a little stall, but with some mighty tofu! Ordered their supreme tofu, so silky, smooth, and creamy. Wish it was closer to LA so I could come more often.
