Sometimes I don't understand how a business runs. Like a kimchi shop that's only open 6 hours a day. But I'm so very glad they're here... The radish and cucumber and both incredible.

This is not Korean kimchi. It's Japanese style and not anything like Korean kimchi. If you prefer this style of kimchi then great but don't expect Korean style kimchi here.

The house made Kimuchi taste very healthy and feel safe. Miso is so good with just fresh cucumber dip in. I also enjoyed chatting with owner who is very friendly and nice.

Saw this place while passing by and thought I'd give it a try because I'm a fan of kimchi. Went in, and the woman behind the counter was very kind and helpful while checking out. Kimchi is spicy and sweet but not overwhelming with flavor. My favorite is the radish kimchi. I'll be back for more!

BEST KIMCHI IN LA! Very special, unique flavor and umami addictiveness. The vegan cucumber kimchi is refreshing and delicious- like eating the ocean! They also sell their kimchi and Japanese inspired banchan at the Marina Del Rey farmer's market.

Small batch kimchi, house made by owner/founder Mrs. Kim. Born and raised in Japan, she learned to make kimchi from her Korean mother. Today, she graces Gardena with her expertly refined recipes, which incorporate ingredients uncommon in typical Korean kimchi. Pine nuts, mushrooms, kelp, and sweet rice powder provide richness and deep umami flavor. The small strip mall shop is sparsely decorated, featuring a solitary refrigerator containing the daily offerings. This usually includes a few varieties of pickles and seasoned miso, but shortly before closing time, only the classic Napa Cabbage Kimchi remained. The owner was very kind and cheerful. I found the kimchi to be sweeter than I am used to, but I loved the complexity of flavor. It was an excellent compliment to a variety of savory home cooked meals. It is made without preservatives, therefore best enjoyed within a week of purchasing. Highly recommended.

What happen ?? We had chance to stop by today. Unfortunately, I can not accept this quality. Taste like supermarket mass products, Sooo poor taste, Looks Water-ish. Taste lost rich sea food flavor. I don't see ingredients that used be,,,,, I hope it just happens this time,,,,

Everything about this place is perfect! I read some of the reviews and totally disagree with any low rating. It's pretty straight forward and simple. They make kimchi with a little twist to it. And you Guys! It's Delicious!!!!!! Don't come here trying to compare what your use to hers.. come with an open mind and enjoy. I looked up a kimchi spot because I wanted to eat good kimchi also use it to make fried rice. I came up on this spot from yelp and at 1st I was 2nd guessing it because some reviews say it's this or that. Well thank God I went and I am in love! 1st off everything is fresh! 2nd the sweetest and kindest lady helped me. I ended up talking to here for a while and we just learned cool things about each other. I told her I wanted Napa kimchi to make fried rice and she suggested a paste I should add to my dish and gave me a little no charge. The kimchi was Delicious! Perfect taste! It was so good I sent out a mass text to my family asking if anyone wants me to mail them some bomb kimchi. So many things stood out about this cute tiny location. It's rare to find a place to eat that offer everything great. You can tell her heart is golden. She doesn't do this for fame or to get rich. She does this because she loves what she does and wants others to expreince it. Thank you for sharing your delicious kimchi recipe with the rest of us. And fyi my fried rice came out A1 :) I will for sure to back. I also found out she does framers market on Sat where she makes kimpbap!!! Yup will be up early Saturday to make that happen! Xoxo to this little Jem!

This little spot sells side dishes to compliment your meals. Kim chee was tasty, not spicy at all, very light flavor almost reminded me of the Hawaiian kine Kim chee you can buy at the market (Kohala Brand kine). The cucumbers were delicious! Crunchy and flavored just right. If you want variety, the mix had spinach, bean sprouts and daikon. All seasoned and was pretty good. Not too salty either. Need some side dishes to compliment your dinner, here it is.

Japanese style kimchi, can't say it's too traditionally korean but it's delicious none the less. Try making a Japanese kimchi pork stir fry or putting some in miso soup.

If you don't like store kimchi- this is the store for you!! It doesn't have sour flavor in there kimchi just like store kimchi has. It doesn't has sour flour but not sweet or sugar taste like some other reviews. I don't eat sweet so sweet would be a nightmare . This is perfect. It's a Japanese style NOT Korean. I love it and by far best kimchi I have ever had. It's pricey but again they making it fresh and NO preservative. Business has expense so I completely understand and think their price point is FAIR.

Excellent kimchee! The most flavorful kimchee, not crazy spicy hot but has the most amazing flavor with all of the ingredients.
