Actually 3.5 stars. Although the meats were the highlight of the restaurant and top notch, the rest of the food, the sides, were kind of lacking. The salad, which is included with the meal (not listed in the menu), seemed like it wasn't entirely fresh-- some of the baby greens were wilted black. The beans, which were brown, were not very flavorful. (Normally at a real Brazilian restaurant the beans are always black.) The salsa was a bit spicy, and I wouldn't consider it a vinaigrette, because it didn't taste vinegar-y. The onions were a little odd, being soaked in oil, but it was okay. The pao de queijo (cheese bread) waffles were pretty good and freshly made. I didn't try the rice, cream corn, or the stroganoff, but they looked a bit off too.... The lady servers were very nice and attentive, and while the men meat servers were also nice, their cutting skills were a bit worrisome. The angles they would cut the meat seemed a bit risky/dangerous, and it's not the usual style of cut you would get at other Brazilian restaurants. They seema bit inexperienced.... The interior ambience looked nice and clean. New paint job, clean tables, and new (very) comfortable seats. Probably the most comfortable chair I've sat on in a restaurant.... Ignore the Japanese food photos you see in Google for this restaurant, because I think those were for the restaurant that was previously here. I thought it was confusing when I first saw this restaurant on Google.... Overall the restaurant was not bad, especially considering what you get and the price. But I'm not sure if we'd enthusiastcally want to return again. By Brazil in Torrance is way better for budget prices.

summary: decent food and service until they told us kitchen is closed and no more food 35 min after being seated and 45 min before closingWe got there at about 840 on a Friday night and we were surprised to see only 2 other parties there. Then we learned that they bring the sides to you via a food cart instead of buffet style in other Brazilian steakhouses. I thought that was not a big deal. There was only 1 meat guy working but he was nice and he worked hard. We thought the food was decent even tho the meat selection was smaller than other places but it was fair for the priceHowever when we asked the waitress to get more sides she informed us the kitchen was closed and no more food, sides and meat. I looked at my phone and it was only 9:15. If they were closing early for whatever reason they should have informed us when we sat down. Not happy that we only got a plate of food per person we asked to speak to the manager.I guess the manager guy didn't want any kind of confrontation he sent the waitress to ask what we wanted. We told her to get us some picanha, tri tip, and pork belly. She came back twice to ask us to repeat the order since she didn't remember and couldn't write down 3 simple things. Then the meat guy brought us picanha and 2 other random meat that we didn't ask for.It was unacceptable to me that we had to go back and forth with them to get more food at an AYCE place. I didn't pay then have to beg for food like Olivier Twist

I saw this Brazilian barbecue on Instagram first. I visited. In the ad that they had on Instagram it said free drink if you show this video to the staff. When I went into the establishment, I showed the video to the staff and asked about it, and they feigned Amnesia like they did not understand my language. They were slow with giving seconds on the food which is different from most Brazilian barbecues where you can go around and get the other STAPLES yourself the only thing that they bring to you at a regular Brazilian barbecue is the meats at this place, they serve you the rice, corn and other things to the table. When I requested more salsa, it took a long time to receive the salsa. It was almost as if they didn’t want to give me another salsa. When I got my bill of course the drink that I ordered was charged to me , I decided not to say anything to them because obviously they lied in their Video. I would not recommend this place to anyone who wants to have an enjoyable meal. However, I can say the meat servers were really friendly, much more friendly than the other staff, and they were very accommodating . I rate the meat servers as five star and rate the rest of the restaurant as one one star very very low.

Ate there last night me and my partner are both sick and with headache. Very ghetto setup, They are serving your sides straight out the pot carrying them on a push cart, table to table. Which were luke warm. The salad bar is big bowl with dressing in squirt bottles sticky and nasty. We had to mention to the staff twice that they’re skipping over us. I waited 10-15 mins before I could tell someone we haven’t had any meat come to our table. I left with a headache but the fact the we both woke up feeling sick is disturbing. Water served in containers with plastic cups. Gross establishment.

I visited this Brazilian BBQ spot with high expectations but was somewhat disappointed. The friendly staff managed a casual, homely atmosphere, but it lacked the professional feel of a restaurant, with plastic water cups, plastic water pitcher, and a disorganized appearance with supplies visible on the side. And while the bathroom was clean, I got a feeling like upkeep is of the whole establishment is going to be a struggle long term. The meats were tasty, yet they didn’t quite match the quality of higher end places with a salad bar/marketplace. My favorite meat, the pork belly, which I’m not sure is traditionally Brazilian BBQ (it seemed more Korean BBQ but I might be wrong here) varied with each serving - sometimes thicker, crispier, or saltier. The sides, though, were disappointing. The mashed potatoes, creamed corn, black beans, and rice, were a letdown, seeming canned or microwaved, and were served from a pot on a wire cart.Service was limited, with only one person serving meats. Even though it was relatively empty, the pace was off, forcing us to order or practically shout out our meats, adding to the odd Brazilian BBQ experience that is different than what I’m used to.At $39.99 per person, I expected a higher standard. While I support small businesses, I don’t think I’ll be back. I’d gladly pay $20 more for the ambiance and service of a higher end Brazilian BBQ. This spot has potential, but it needs refinement to truly shine.

Why is this entry called Otimo All You Can Eat Brazilian but the reviews are for a sushi restaurant and photos of the menu say Miyabi Uni?

Tony Gandara

This is misleading. The business name says Brazilian Steakhouse, but where the steak? Lots of sea food but no steak??? Just one on the menu.
