It's really hard to find a teriyaki place with brown rice, but Moana Grill has it! We love their chicken teriyaki bento boxes and California rolls. The staff is very friendly on the phone, and we've never been let down. We have only gotten the food to go, but I see people eating inside now and then. Go support!

We usually get their teriyaki chicken bento boxes and it's so worth it for the variety. It comes with soup, some California rolls, side cabbage salad, and tempura. So hard to find meals/entrees that are <$12 these days. The food is great, although the beef plate was slightly on the tougher side the one time we tried it. I hope we can all support this small business so they can continue offering affordable selections.

I absolutely love this plate ! Everything on it tastes amazing. I like the quality of the food in the plate. The people that work here are always very polite and nice too. The ambiance is pretty nice as well it's just not a lot of table it's more for take-out in my opinion.

Best bento box in Gardena. The food is served fairly fast and the staff is always extra kind with smiles on face at all times. Always a pleasure eating here as it is busy but a lively environment.

This place is such a great find. I ordered to go on my last day in California (after a week long trip) and has I discovered this place earlier in the week, I definitely would have been eating here daily. The Moana chicken is off the chain (super delicious) and their sushi is really good too (they have tons of options, that are customizable). They messed up on my veggie sushi. I wanted cabbage instead of lettuce but everything else was delicious so I'm not holding it against them.The dressing that comes with the shredded cabbage is something that I wish I knew the name of. It made the cabbage sooooo delicious. I wish there was a spot like this in New Jersey. This eatery has me contemplating moving to California.

We stumbled on this while exploring Gardena and it’s my new favorite sushi. The price point, the made to order freshness and the quality is just wonderful. Have already been back a few times! Highly recommend. We ordered the volcano which is my new favorite! The California roll is great. They have some dine in tables but mostly people were doing to go orders. My new favorite!!!

Hawaiian and Japanese fusion, two cuisines that I love so I had to try Moana Grill eventually.I had the Shoyu Poke and shared the Gardena and Sky roll with a friend. The tuna quality for the poke was nice and fresh. The poke itself was kind of standard, just onions, tuna, and shoyu. Both of the rolls had pretty good flavor, and were decently filling. I did prefer the Gardena roll to the Sky roll. Prices are also really affordable compared to other roll restaurants. I'll come back to try some of the other Hawaiian staple dishes, but I'd recommend for a casual lunch or takeout.

First time trying this place, and I’m amazed! Really good tasting food, portions are very generous, and the price is very fair! Very kind staff, we’re very friendly when I called my order. And upon arrival, very clean restaurant, plenty of parking. This is now my go to spot for delicious Japanese food!
