Delicious food that keeps me coming back! My personal go tos are the salmon poke and chicken katsu bowl; I think you get the most bang for your buck getting either one of those. Chill atmosphere with a nice and varied music playlist in the background. It gets fairly busy during the 12 PM lunch rush, but nothing too crazy for an unreasonable wait time. 5/5 stars!

The place and food are fine but for some reason it’s usually 2$ for 3 sauces but 1 more is $3 now? It’s usually $2 for 3. It’s unfair that the African American lady can charge more when other people charge $2. It’s a waste of money for the little sauce you get honestly. You are mostly serving broke college students please stop.

Great service. I ordered Kimbap, but was not too delighted on the taste.
I had an amazing experience at this family-owned Japanese restaurant! The chicken bowl I ordered was incredible. The meat was perfectly cooked, savory, and juicy. You can tell they put a lot of care into their dishes. The cozy, welcoming atmosphere made the meal even better. I can’t wait to come back and try more from their menu!
I have been going to this place for about 6 months about 0-2 times a week. To get the veggie bowl. Generally it is very good food and a good price. This last time I went they forgot my sauce. It was no problem I went back and asked for them to put the sauce on. One lady in the back was not happy. She put so much sauce in it was pooling at the sides it was very soupy. I still tried it to make sure it wasn't just how it looked and it tasted very bad. Usually I see a guy making my food but she claimed she's the chef that makes it. She refused to fix it but luckily gave me a refund. I want to make sure to say most ppl at this place are very kind. This is the first time I have experienced any bitterness or passive aggressiveness here. But she was extremely rude and angry with me so I wanted to leave a review in hopes the owner could do something about it so this kind of situations does not happen to anyone else. The lady might of just been having a bad day but this was till very bad experience and I am unsure if I will be going back bc I do generally enjoy the food and service.
Absolutely amazing. The place is a little bit small, so there's not a lot of places to sit when they're busy, but the food is sooo good! I tried their beef bugolgi and it was the best that I've had in quite a while. I will definitely be coming back again and trying new things as well.

I always look forward to lunch when I order from this place. I love the variety, it's delicious and affordable. During the colder months I recommend the udon with fishcake and veggies. Their poke bowls are solid choices and you can never go wrong with either the handrolls or kimbap.

Always wanted to try this place. They are closed on the weekend. I ordered the upon with fish cake soup(had a kick to it, not too sweet like sukiyaki, comes with cabbage, spinach, and green onion), spam musubi, and house kimbap. Very good value and taste pretty good. Neatly and thoughtfully packed. Hope they stay in business for the value they offer, which is hard to find these days.I'll definitely go back.
