I was really craving the jokbal I used to eat in Korea, and this place delivered exactly that taste! The meat was tender and chewy, perfectly seasoned—just like back home. The kind and considerate service from the staff made the experience even more enjoyable. The kongguksu (soybean noodle soup) had a rather mild flavor, not particularly rich, but it was decent and ordinary.

Love this place. Great stews and bossam. I love the flavor of the kimchi—on the fresh side.

Love the pork Cutlet. Lots of side dishes. Flavor is really good. Love the kimchi. Cabbage is nicely cut. Mash potato is good as well. Over all I give this dish a 5 stars. Really good customer service.

First time visiting. Tried their spicy pork belly soup and tasted great. Not too spicy. Good options for many tastes.

The side dishes, blood sausage soup and rice all performed very well. The environment was clean and tidy and made people feel quite comfortable. A bottle of Yakult was given as a finishing touch after the meal, which was very considerate.

Wow! The store was spacious and clean, so my first impression was good. I tried the hangover soup that was recommended to me, and it tasted similar to what I used to eat in Korea. In Korea, people eat a lot of hangover soup or soup with rice to ease their stomachs the day after drinking. It was delicious.

The haejangguk had a broth base with just the right amount of cabbage and meat, so it was spicy and not too spicy.

This is a restaurant where you can eat the Seonjihaejangguk and Sundae that you saw in Korean dramas. Go and try it once!! I always want to visit again.

I got the feeling that the store was clean, and as expected, the food was also prepared cleanly and well.

We used to come to this place frequently. Unfortunately a decline in quality and the quantity of meat in various dishes means we visit a lot less. It’s a shame as the first few times it was fantastic. Sadly due to cost of labor and ingredients, many restaurants are forced to follow the same path these days.

This was my first visit to Myung Ga Haejangguk. The service was fantastic. They placed electric fans by me and were very attentive. We had the yukgaejang, a spicy beef brisket soup with sprouts, mushrooms, and rice noodles—it was amazing. The portion size was much larger than I expected. It was worth every penny. I highly recommend it 100%.

DISHONEST! They use back rib for Calbitang, which means short rib soup. Shame.

This place is really great Korean comfort food with generous proportions. Some of the stews will take a long time, so call ahead and order. Ready when you arrive!
