I love my local Superior. It's always clean & stocked up. I always pick up marinated meats and they always taste delicious. The ceviche is also good & easy and quick to order. Never issues for me when I go. Staff is always kind.

I was unimpressed here, just a personal opinion... the selection is decent - good fruits/veggies and pastries- the smell of the meat/fish department was off-putting (and I do shop ethnic markets often). Prices are good... and it was very convenient to El camino college

Went to this store for the second time. I as a black woman feel unappreciated The first time wasn't so good with the cashier not friendly at all. The second time the cashier said she was close so I got in another line. This hispanic man walked up to her line and she rung his items up. I feel like she was being rude and racist. I feel everyone should be treated the same. I will not be going back there.

Superior, has Fresh Vergetable & The meat is fresh, highly recommend Superior to everyone. They have Ceviche which I like, they make it specify which is good with Hot sauce on Tostada, I like a lot of Mexican food, this is my Favorite. Superior has its name because they are the best in the Community.From along time Customer, in The city of Gardena.

Threw 2 out of 3 packs of chicken away and this isn't the first time! Strange foul odor. I also noticed a lot of creative "cuts" of meat being sold at premium prices even though they are just trimmings from other cuts. Only reason it gets two stars is the produce section fair prices and reasonable product.

Horrible Experience. We purchased 3lbs of meat at the carnicería and the worker labeled it as 6lbs. Once we arrived home we noticed the mistake and headed back to the store. Upon arriving, the manager, Emma, denied any mistake could have ever been made at her store. Furthermore, she claimed that we had taken out the meat and came back with malicious intent. This claim was proven to be impossible since the "Superior" labeling tag was not damaged and still had the bag sealed. We weren't demanding a refund. We were content with them full filling the 6lbs that were charged because everyone makes mistakes. Once she noticed she was in the wrong she told the worker to give us "any 2 pieces of meat" instead of the filet mignon that we had bought. That is unacceptable because all of the meats are not the same price as the fillet mignon nor have the same flavor. In the end, she gave us 2 pieces of New York steak which only amounted to the weight of 1 lb. In addition, Emma never apologized for any of the inconveniences despite her understanding of the situation. She also handled the whole encounter with ill-treatment. Such a rude and inconsiderate manager. Highly do not recommend you pay a visit to this grocery. They could steal your money as well!

I haven't been to Superior Market since I was a struggling student living in ghetto. You get what you pay for. I bought chicken from there and it tasted and smelled funny but I'm not sure why. I threw it all out. What a waste of money. Their meats are poor quality. Even the steak I bought wasn't good. I'll stick to Ralphs where I can find better quality meats. Nasty.

Make sure you check expiration dates!!!!! At least 6 out of the 10 items I came for were 2-7 months past the expiration date!!!! Even when I pulled from the back.☹️
