This is about as authentic as you can get!!! If you never had Hawaiian food, you should try it. It may look like other foods but trust me it does not taste like what the familiar picture shows. Hawaiian food has a flavor all it's own and this place can do it right. Lau-Lau is fantastic ... exactly what I had in Hawaii ... They even have SPAM dishes Don't let it's modest outside fool you. It's about 2 miles from Sony Enjoy!

If you ever crave Hawaiian food I would definitely choose this place in the Marvista area. Having lived over in Hawai’i for 6 years this place is as genuine of a restaurant I would go to for breakfast over there. I have the Lau Lau and it is very good.

Hawaiian local chain with homey bites. Came here with a couple of friends on a Monday evening around 6pm and there was no wait. Street parking available and there’s a small parking lot off the side for the restaurant. Credit cards accepted. There’s dinein and takeout available. We got the original Hawaiian royale, the catering sample plate, and 2 for $5 spam musubis. There’s an option to make the plates “king-size” but the normal size was good for the 3 of us. The royale had a good amount of meat, and the catering sample plate had a good variety. I particularly liked the bbq beef. The mac salad was nice and came with a Hawaiian roll.

Catering with Rutts could not be any easier. And affordable! I was trying to price catering for a memorial reception and kept getting sticker shock. Coupled with the fact that none of the places I called would deliver (really, with all the details that need to complete for a memorial, the last thing I want to do is have someone leave the grieving family to pick up food), Rutts was a God-send. We got many compliments on the food and everyone was able to have generous portions. Delivery was $20 for the 48 person catering option (also appreciated the transparent pricing on their website!) and all I had to do was submit an online quote request... A few days before my event I got a square notification to pay online. will definitely go with Rutts again for all my future catering needs.

We just had Rutt's cater our work event last week, and they did not disappoint. I used them because someone at my office used them before, but it was my first time. I'm not picky on a lot of types of food, but for some reason, I am with Hawaiian eats. Particularly, mac salad. The mac salad was on point, as was everything else in the 48-person platter. All of our guests were impressed, and so was I. We will be using them again!

I don't think my review should matter, but "HERE I GO!!! "THIS HAND OF MINE IS BURNING RED!!!" I'm just kidding, wrong line. Here's my actual review. I'd ordered the Sausage and Bacon Combo with a side of rice and scrambled eggs for lunch. For me it was satisfying. Reminded me of Weekend Mornings with my folks and siblings. Always started off the Mornings right. Sometimes food that is simplistic usually taste delicious. I would eat here again. P.S. If u reading this review you're beautiful and sending positive vibes your way.

We get catering from here with three different options every weekend. However, every vegetarian option has had squash in it to where I have just given in to eat the chicken to just not have squash. Please learn about vegetarian cooking before offering it. They put squash in EVERY vegetarian meal. Even the burritos. The burritos has white rice too which I find odd unless that is a Hawaiian thing. Their meat loaf and chicken parm is good. When there is burgers and fries they get soft from the humidity of the closed container. It’s a waste of food I’ll throw it out because it’s not good anymore. That goes for all the fried style foods. When it’s para stuff I get the vibe they put a lot of pasta cause it’s cheap and not a balance of ingredients.

Saw this on food network when it was featured by Guy Fieri. I ordered the Rutt’s fried royale and it was good except that it was too salty for me. Overall, it’s a good place for breakfast or brunch.
