My husband and i are changing our eating habits and when we knew about this place was like a great idea for us, whenever we want something quick and healthy we just think about simply salads. I love their downtown Cobb with grilled chicken salad.

If there is another Simply Salad location go to that one and save yourself the trip to this one. Took about 30 minutes to receive order w/ no sense of urgency from staff. When I finally got my order only half of the bowl was filled up. Slauson location is way better!

Love this place. The salad is ? I tried to create my own but I just can’t stay away from the signatures my favorite is cue salad with regular ranch. The vibe is great, the music is great and the people are super friendly. My next adventure is trying the Cerritos location. Great job, fantastic concept.

I am so disappointed this location was my favorite until today there is a woman there that was throwing food in the bowls like she hated her job. They drowned my food in dressing because they're was not enough lettuce placed in the bowl from the woman throwing food in it. Which is crazy because someone could have allergies to something but how she is throwing the food, she wouldn't even know food of another vegetable fell in the mix also. They need a different crew those ppl didn't want to be there except the asian guy he was very nice who checked us out. He even looked at her throwing food.

I really want to give Simply Salad 5 stars because when they make their salads right they are fantastic. I’ve been coming here since they opened. But the last 3 times I’ve ordered on the app they totally messed up my salad. Instead of making the main salad with the add-ons I paid for, they just give me the add-ons, none of the original salad ingredients. I called them the first two times and the guy was nice and apologized, but said he could only give me credit for a new salad the next time I came in, not including what I paid for the add-ons. Today I tried calling the store when I placed the order to be sure they got it right, but no one answered after two tries. So I drove back and asked them to give me a new one.Their customer service and friendly atmosphere have been ok but not super great, but I’ve noticed a further decline recently. The last few times I’ve been in the team seems unhappy, don’t want to be there, they don’t greet customers walking in, etc. I get the sense that the team is overworked, understaffed, or the work tasks and processes are not well organized.I think Simply Salad could be great but they need to work on quality control and customer service, and probably also employee satisfaction.

I ordered a salad that was supposed to have tortilla strips in it. I wanted those especially for the crunch. It came with no tortilla strips and no indication. That would be the case by the staff. It seemed like sort of a cheap shot to me.

Looking for a healthy option to DoorDash for the office, I came across SimplySalad. The pictures on the website and the option to build your own salad was very appealing. Everyone is the office was very happy with their meal, so I gave it 4 stars. The salad was good, yes. But the picture showed the toppings in individual piles on top of the lettuce but was delivered with all topping cut into teeny pieces and all mixed together. I guess it's their style and it's not bad, but for me personally, I won't order a salad there again. Also, the base lettuce salad is $10 and every single thing you want on it is extra (of course, that's fine). But a salad can quickly add up to $15-17+ depending on whether you want protein.

I visited the Gardena location on Friday night at 5:30 PM, nobody on the staff had smiles on their faces. They all looked so unhappy and were not friendly at all and unfortunately that came out in the salad that I ordered. I did not enjoy it at all. If you are unhappy with your job please find a job That you are happy with. the customer service was bad they didn't look you in the eye, and were just downright rude This was my first time visiting a simply salad, and I will not visit again.

Had hone the website on many occasions. Telling myself I'm going to go and try it. WELL! Yesterday after church was the day. A friend of mines suggested we go for lunch. I'm a BIG VEGGIE HEAD so I was pleased to see the variety & wraps. I purchased the QUE salad and my friends purchased the same, but in a wrap. As we sat outside to enjoy the sun. YES the sun was out ?? My friends wraps were HUGE, it took two hands for them to finish one half. As enjoyed my salad, which too was HUGE. Couldn't stop eating, none of us lol Saying Yea we're gonna take the rest home for dinner. YEA RIGHT! It was a WRAP & SALAD LOL ? get it!? Anyhoo! I'm SOLD and will be back again today for dinner and lunch for work tomorrow. Didn't mind the price, for me truly was satisfied with my meal and beverage ??? See ya in a couple of hours Simply Salad ?

I ordered the earthy, nutty, crunchy salad. The salad was supposed to come with simply salad mix, tofu, grilled corn, artichoke hearts, beets, croutons, edamame, and sunflower seeds. None of this was in the salad.I ordered additional veggies broccoli, cilantro, crispy onion, garbanzo beans, grape tomatoes, kidney beans, mushrooms, and red onions. I also asked for quinoa to substitute the tofu.I order this salad all the time. Don't know what went wrong tonight, but the salad is only the greens, garbanzo & kidney he beans, broccoli, and onions. Very disappointing. Two stars because the salad mix was fresh.

I decided to try Simply Salads on yesterday, Dec 14 so I could have a place to buy fresh salads when my regular restaurant is closed. I ordered the Downtown Cobb and a cup of Clam Chowder. When I received my food the first thing I noticed was they have good portion sizes. The clam chowder tasted good however it had an after taste like eating minerals. I can only attribute it to the clams. The pita chips were very hard and salty. The salad looked great. Upon tasting it the lettuce was slightly wilted and the avocado was over ripe and very mushy. The chicken was bland and the pita bread was bland as well. The thing that disturbed me the most was one of the workers. I watched her assist a customer. She took money from the customer and completed the transaction. That went well. However, when she was done she turned to the back counter and pulled down some sheets and a large wheat looking tortilla. The problem was she did it wearing the same gloves she had on when she was handling money. I called her over to the counter alone and said, "Shouldn't you change your gloves because you handled money?" Her response was, "I was going to." My response, "You should have done that before you started handling the wrap papers and the tortilla. I hope that tortilla is not for me because that is not right what you just did." She had no response, she just walked away and started talking to a co-worker.I am totally disappointed with how they handle the food as well as the quality and flavor of the food. I will never go back. It is so hard these days to trust people to prepare your food. If they do things like not properly changing their gloves in front of the customers then I can only imagine what they do when we are not paying attention. My niece told me the salads were good but that was not my experience. Unfortunately this first impression is a lasting one.The only other thing I can say on a positive note is I liked the decor but that's not enough to go back.

Fresh tasting salads with a good variety of dressings. This time I got the "Chinatown" and did not know which of the recommended dressings to get since I could not find descriptions. I flipped a coin and chose the Far East dressing (on the side just in case) and it was good - it's a sesame flavored dressing that goes well with the salad. Veggies are chopped up and mixed in. The chicken is like chunks of breast meat that are not stringy or overly dry, but have a bit of a fake grilled flavor. Maybe next time I will ask to substitute the baked tofu if that is possible. Comes with a 1/4 piece of flatbread. Ordered on their website for pickup at around 12:20 on a Saturday and it was ready by around 12:35.

This is one of my favorite to go salad spots. Although, I've ordered through Uber Eats delivery multiple times with amazing service. But today... HIGHLY DISAPPOINTED!!!! Customers don't expect the greasy hand prints to be in their receipt. Employees must wash hands or use gloves right?! Just WOW.... Nobody's perfect! Everybody make mistakes! Strive for greater performance in the food industry.

First time ever ordering from here and I was extremely disappointed. I really wanted to like this place because I love salads, that being said, I used door dash to place my order for delivery. I ordered a Caesar salad and a San Pellegrino. My order came and to my disappointment, there was no drink to be found. The next disappointment was the entire Caesar salad. It looked nothing like the photo, no croutons and floppy lettuce that looked like it’s been sitting out all day, and a random piece of pita bread on top.Not sure I’ll be back.
