The pastries here are absolutely delicious—worth a visit for the treats alone.

However, my experience was dampened by the challenging parking situation. The lot is small with tight spaces, and someone actually bumped my car while I was inside. Additionally, it's common to see police and sheriff vehicles double-parked wherever they please, which is frustrating and inconvenient for customers who follow the rules.

Great food, but be prepared for parking hassles.

This is a modern Korean-American coffee shop/bakery.

Awesome pastries with a variety of interesting flavors. Very friendly service and convenient when I’m next door getting my car serviced.

I had a kimchi croissant which was very flakey and well balanced in flavor. The regular cappuccino could be a little stronger coffee or use more milk foaming - but overall ok.

Another Korean coffee shop in the town. Went there on Thanksgiving. Thanks god they still open! But not many bakery choices due to holiday. Scone tastes great!

I like this place but I swear all the lattes are lukewarm for some reason.

Korean coffee shop with tasty little treats. Came here for coffee with a friend on a weekday morning and there was a good amount of people. Tried the bagel with garlic cream cheese and the pistachio croissant along with a matcha latte. The food is self-service and then you pay/order at the counter for the drinks. There’s indoor and outdoor seating. Plaza parking is available underground but be sure to read the signs as some spots are reserved for certain businesses.

Depending on what you feel like, all their coffee options are fantastic. They also have a good assortment of pastries available as well.

I really enjoy Smoking Tiger Coffee. It’s one of my favorite spots to relax and grab something special. Their corn bread is always fresh, soft, and flavorful, and the Green Goblin drink used to be my go-to order. Unfortunately, I haven’t seen it on the menu during my last few visits, which was a bit disappointing since it was one of the best and most unique drinks they offered.

The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, and the service has always been kind. I hope they bring back the Green Goblin, because paired with their corn bread and matcha croissant , it made for the perfect treat.

I called myself pretty lucky for literally getting the last piece of their ube mochi. It was uniquely filled with mashed sweet potato and it's delicate how the skin was so thin and moist while the filling was literally packed. For the size and price in LA, surely worthy!

They did serve decent coffee and the space design despite being more like a chain-bakery-style sort of, I would say clean and convenient. Most guests seemed to be family or students coming for studying and hanging for awhile.

This place is serves as a place where many take their personal devices and do their homework, study etc… nice cafe/tea place. Seems to be the place to be if you need a quiet sit down place.
I personally love the “Pineapple Express iced tea”. Enjoy

I’m obsessed with smoking tiger. I typically go to the Gardena location because it’s on my way to work. I also frequent the Cerritos location, as it’s closer to home. However, the Gardena location has officially and completely lost me. The baristas there are all skilled and lovely to interact with, but the baker seems to be on their own timing. On several occasions, they’ve had no baked goods in the morning except croissants because the baker supposedly called out. That is unavoidable, and if this location only has one baker on staff, certainly not the onus of the baker themself. More frustratingly, however, is that they have decided not to make the tiger salt bread at this location anymore. One staffer told me that’s because it’s seasonal, another told me it’s not. When I visit other ST locations, though, they all have the tiger salt bread and staff at those locations have told me it’s not a seasonal item. It seems like the baker for Gardena simply doesn’t want to make them. In general, the selection of baked goods in the Gardena location is thin and inconsistent. What truly broke the camel’s back, however, was that the baker simply “didn’t see” that an app order had come in for the bfast sliders. We had to get our purchase refunded because they were not paying attention. Sad! I wish this location was as consistent as Cerritos and some of the other locales I’ve visited! Going forward I’m going to take a longer route to work so I can go to the Cerritos location where I know I’ll get what I come for.

Love the latte options here, especially banana milk latte. The baristas are super sweet and always helpful! Def try the croissants, only thing is you have to go early to have choices cause they go fast.
