We came by during off peak hours for a late lunch. The huge menu meant choosing took awhile but we placed our order and food turnaround was quick.
The Salmon, Mango and avocado roll was a delightful combination, sweet, creamy but light. The Crunch Spicy Tuna Roll had a decent kick that woke up the taste buds. The Tampopo Roll was covered by crispy flakes that added texture to the dish.
Prices were very reasonable but serves aren't huge. Service was polite but disorganised. Decor is simple but the latticed ceiling and lamps evoke the feeling of being back in Japan. A neighbourhood gem for the locals and those in the know.

The sashimi was so delicious! The fish was so fresh and beautiful. Melt in your mouth, best pieces of raw fish I've had in a long time. Great buyer, excellent quality, especially the ahi. It was red, soft and delicate and so tasty! The staff was attentive and fast. The manager watched over everything. The cooking staff was fantastic and the sushi chefs were hopping. Excellent service, quality, food was wonderful and the experience was great. Very happy and will 100% go back again.

Four star quality for three star prices. Everything we had was good but nothing was outstanding. Would recommend for a casual lunch or dinner. Mexican burrito was my fav.
This place is bomb reasonable price food delicious soups are awesome. Sushi rolls are good. Just everything is good here.
Sushi was mediocre
Took my Aunt for the first time everything was great until the Guy in back preparing the sushi without Gloves decides to start helping out with Tables and comes over to my table while I'm pulling out my card to pay and abruptly reaches way over to grab my card without saying a word .Rather than politely asking was there anything else u need and may I take that for you He just reaches down to grab the card .
Communication is very important and if you want to give good service and multitask, a suggestion for next time perhaps learn some etiquettes and how to politely communicate with people when approaching the table. And don't cross contaminate your customer's food by handling items in the restaurant and then go back behind the counter and start preparing food without Gloves.
Great food. Spicy levels perfect

I have been coming to Tampopo for many years but tonight I have experienced something strange all of the rolls I ordered were just falling apart I showed the waiter and asked if they were using a different type of rice or what was going on I also told him I didn’t want anything for it I just wanted him to see what was happening anyhow the flavor was still there! I’m posting this to see if anyone else has experienced this here. Stay blessed everyone.

it was pretty good i say a 8.5/10 you have to pay to add a egg which i never had that happen in other places but its okay also want to mention that the men employees need to work on being more polite, it’s also a very crowded restaurant. i got the chashu ramen btw
