The Crab Shack, Gardena, Tozai Plaza

My husband and I are regulars here. Like once a month kind of regulars for 3 years. We have seen the management change at least 3-4 times. The last two times management changed here, the quality of food has decline tremendously. Last time, we went there and specifically asked for no pork in our combo 2 and guess what? It came with pork.🥲 we are Muslims. This time we went there and our crab was ice cold. 🫢 needless to say, we won’t be going there again because they are not able to keep up with the quality. Sad. It was only good when I believe a black family owned it and whoever owned it about 3 years ago, they would put enough seasoning, your meat was never cold and they would play bangers.

Shrimp was mushy or soft didn’t far for them and I love shrimps but the flavors was on point I probably wouldn’t go back

I ordered a crab boil with specialty items on the menu and two drinks and fish and chips my bill was $188.00 they brought the drinks to my table then said we have to pay in advance before we get our meal because the chef won't prepare it until they are paid, never have I been to a restaurant like this maybe it was the color of my skin.

This is our fourth time coming here. I decided to post it, this time the service was very good they were friendly very attentive. Our food was great, just one thing the first combo we ordered was on point, we asked for medium spice, and it was great, but the second combo we ordered the spice was just mild it wasn't consistent but it was still good. Over it was great, and I would recommend it here. We'll go back.

Oh my gosh food was amazing absolutely delicious!! We are visiting from Utah and I wish we had this place out there, everything was so good especially the service, Oscar and Irvin are so kind and very attentive, nothing better then eating at a great place and having the servers be just as good if not better, definitely will stop by again in the future?

Crab shack is not new to me or my family. Been going to this location since they first opened and love their food. Today was a different experience and so disappointing. The first table the employee pointed to, the seats were dirty. Had shells and sauces on the seats so we asked if we could sit at another open table. This one again, 2 of the 4 seats had food remainder on the seats, but I cleaned it up. Still thinking, not a big deal.
Then our server came, and then everything went downhill. She never introduced herself but her name tag said Kimberly. I think her manager should have given her a night off. Ordering our food with her was an ordeal. She was rude and had a “I don’t give a crap” attitude. After she left our table, the 4 of us just looked at each other and had to laugh cause our experience was so ridiculous. After the food was delivered, we never saw her again. We asked all the other servers for drink refills and anything else we needed, including our bill so we can get out of there.
Sorry Crab Shack, the experience tonight was way below your norm.
