The second I walked into the place I was greeted with many smiles and instantly felt like family, shortly after they read out the whole menu of delectable items. I was given juice samples off rip which gave me the hint of sweetness I needed to revitalize me from an intense workout. After being seated instantly was given ice cold water and more little samples of menu items that all tasted amazing and hit every taste bud making me curious to come again. The food arrived with a heart warming smile and the food was better than the smile with amazing cheese pulls. At the end when leaving, unc asked us if we hooped and made all my hooping attributes go up, and told us to get home safe twice which made me feel twice as safe going home in the night. That is why the toss up is a 5 star in every category and if u live in Gardena this must be a go to place while meeting ur health goals. Thanks to unc and all his family members

Me and my boy came back from exercising and we were hungry, thinking we would try a new place except for getting Chipotle like usual we tried The Toss Up. We were greeted with being told the whole menu and given samples. We bought the spaghetti and meatballs and holy it was the most flavorful spaghetti ever, I recommend getting salt. The waitress gave us samples AGAIN without us even asking, and I promise we are going back they tasted amazing. Now that was the food, it was great, but I’ve never left a place smiling from ear to ear like this before because they might have the nicest crew out of any food place out there, it was amazing, unc was talking to us and let us stay after closing to finish eating. After talking to my friend about how awesome that experience is, we are now walking home, not talking and writing reviews on THE SINGLE BEST experience we’ve ever had eating out, my only regret was not tipping more, the food was very healthy, tasty, and cheap. Thank you unc and all the amazing workers there.

Yes, I enjoy the staff , they welcome you with a smile 😁 and help you with the menu and they served samples of drinks and soup, Salad and Soup and Pasta, Baked Loaded Potatoes, So stop by and enjoy, very clean inside and lots of sitting. I will be going back, with my Auntie, my grown kids enjoy there food too, alot of food for the money.

I have no issues with the environment, it was clean, cool temperature and well lit, I had bad customer service, the workers refused to serve me, and they let other people cut me when I was next in line, I was not mean, nor I had a bad attitude, I don't know why they did this to me, I will NEVER go back there, I give that terrible place a zero.
This happend back in March of this year, I walked in because it looked like an good place, I walked in to get a salad, there were two men at the register, the slightly taller man walked away, the other guy refused to take my order, there was a group of women behind me, they told me to step aside so they can help them, I did, the took their order, for some reason everyone had these nasty attitudes, including the stuck-up women making the food and the customer behind me in line, I don't get why they did this to me, I was respectful and polite, if they treat everyone else good that's fine, they treated me like I did something wrong to them, including those women in line, when I told someone else who got salads from there they said it happened to them too, it looks like your employees are bias and prejudice, just remember, people are professional and nice when the owner is there, people show who they really are when the the owner is not there, it's common everywhere.

Went here for the first time. We got the Caesar salad, Caesar wrap, Texas Smokehouse Salad and the Cheddar broccoli baked potato. All I can say is OMG best salads and potatos we have ever eaten. If I could give 100 stars I would. The staff was amazing and so nice. Totally recommend

I chose to return, and received good service. I have to keep it 100%! After my challenging experience, And my return, I received great service and great food and samples from the owner. I recommend this place! Definitely a absolutely fantastic place to get great, healthy food and it's atmosphere is worthy of dating and sports viewing while enjoying your meal !!
