I enjoyed my dinner here. Food was good and service was fast. I had never heard of pistolettes, which must be very regional, and they were wonderful. They are a small French roll stuffed with Étouffée. Crust is crisp. I had the roast beef po'boy, too and bread pudding for dessert. There are several small dining rooms so it doesn't feel to crowded or loud. Live music in the front room.

What a delight! The blackened catfish shrimp bowl was heavenly! I loved the trio tacos! The rest of my party had fish & shrimp basket. We loved everything! Service was top notch! The rustic building added to the charm.

They had some plastic in my drink that i coughed up, I asked were they goin give a discount on drink, she said NO, I said I choked on a piece a plastic, so are these glasses clean?! She say I dont give drinks away, I wasnt asking for it to be given away, but she allowed an employee to have their child sit right behind us & gave him a free salad. Sooo choking doesnt matter, ok I understand ???

Found this gem on accident and thankfully we did!! The food is outstanding, & the staff is fantastic. It was such a great surprise - we had the stuffed mushrooms, oysters royale, redfish, and enchiladas, and holy cow! Bring your appetite. Awesome bartender mixing drinks to wash it down with. Wish we could take Tia Juanitas back to GA with us.

Tia Juanita’s Fish Camp restaurant is a short distance north of I-10 in Beaumont, Texas. The menu is a creative mix of Cajun and Mexican food. We selected boudin balls for appetizer; yum. The 1/2 po’ boy and cup of gumbo is made to satisfy. Locals recommend blackened redfish pontchartrain with crab topping. The service is prompt and working to satisfy.
