What a hidden gem. The owner worked the bar super sweet such a great chat. Food was a 10/10. Very good
Monthly meeting of 35+ handled effectively every time.
Great place for great food and great experience!!
We Stopped in last for an amazing jewel of a restaurant. They ask that people make reservations so they can plan on their food supply, but they had plenty of great food. We both had their halibut. The owner said it is the freshest halibut in the land ~ and he was right!!! I've never tasted fresher or better. The service is fabulous ~ it's like stepping back in time to when people were gracious and happy to wait on you. Treat yourself to this jewel hidden away in the mountains of Georgetown. You won't regret it!!!

I come from Germany and am currently visiting here. The Buckeye Restaurant has its own charm that corresponds to this region. At first glance from the outside it is actually inconspicuous, but when you enter the restaurant this special flair already appears in the entrance area. The map is actually relatively small, which is a very good sign for me. All dishes are homemade and of excellent taste and quality. It starts with the soup of the day, the salad and for me it ends with the main course, but that's only because I couldn't fit anything else. Luckily, you won't find fast food here. The owners Patti and Randy introduced themselves personally and had a conversation with me that went beyond the usual “small talk”. The service staff, presumably of long standing, was also extremely courteous without seeming intrusive and coordinated very well with the kitchen and drinks counter. The prices are absolutely reasonable and not too expensive. The restaurant and bar visitors are mostly “locals”. I have traveled a lot in the USA and this was one of my best restaurant visits ever. I have rarely felt so comfortable. My family members and friends who accompanied me were just as excited as I was. We will definitely come back and can wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant. As already noted in the other reviews, be sure to make a reservation. The owners attach great importance to this!

Called to ask where the beef was sourced from.
I was told "our purveyor."
Well thank you. Obviously.
I asked "which purveyor" then I got hung up on.
Then I tried to call back and got hung up on immediately twice.
Just found out from a source that it is the same Harris ranch feedlot beef you get everywhere. Not sure why they just wouldn't admit that.
Best filet mignon out here

Think grandma’s country kitchen+Cracker Barrel+Cattlemen’s… and I’m here for it! ? I fully agree with another comment - don’t judge a book by its cover because it looks like you’re going to a camp store but you quickly walk into a western-rustic other dimension. It’s “farm quaint” with lots of Johnny Cash and Patsy playing. I haven’t had great service in a long time and our waitress last night was fantastic! I highly recommend the prime rib offered on Fri and Saturdays but be sure to make a reservation and put in your order. The cream mushroom soup was AMAZING, also generous that you get salad as well with fresh sourdough bread & butter. My husband ordered the ribs and they were a little dry but still not bad. I would definitely return to this little hidden gem ! ? There was also a small bar inside with what seemed to be regular locals - all very friendly. I’m excited to try a steak next time!
