“A kind of out of the way hidden gem. The Ladies wanted to enjoy a nice dinner together during the week. The atmosphere was very nice and the staff was very welcoming. The drinks were excellent and the Filet Mignon was delicious, tender and perfectly cooked. We were all full by the end of the main course so I can't comment on dessert. Maybe next time. Highly recommended!”

“I'm very health oriented and didn't eat meat for years but I tried their brisket burger and it was so good I got hooked. They are so friendly I love patronizing the business. Everyone should experience the rustic divide.”

“I recently ordered a lot of pizzas and a few salads as Take Out because we were feeding a lot of people helping us move into our new Georgetown home. The pizza was delicious, the salads fresh and well presented. The food was hot, ready, and served with a smile. The person who took my order was especially friendly and helpful. We would order here again!”

“I recently had the pleasure of dining at Los Abuelos, and I must say, their chicken fajitas for two were truly delightful. The flavor was exceptional, and the portion size was generous. My only small gripe is that they could include a few more tortillas with the dish. However, the staff was more than accommodating and provided extra tortillas free of charge upon request. Overall, a delicious dining experience with excellent customer service.”
“Good selection of vegan options: soups, noodles, stir fried veggies, glazed tofu, vegan chicken and pork, rice, potstickers, fortune cookies, etc. Ask for hoison, szechuan, soy or another vegan sauce to be safe. Not every option is labeled on the menu, but the owner family is familar with vegan diets and happy to answer questions. They also accommodate build-your-own requests like sesame tofu and veggie mixes! Updated from previous review on 2023-06-06”
“This store is closed due to medical issues but they now do offer weekly meals that you can order and pick up. You order by Sunday and pick up on Wednesday. Connect to them on Facebook and you can see the weekly offers post. I highly enjoyed their food so I am sure the weekly meals will be delicious. I am planning on trying them soon. The owner is very friendly and helpful.”
“On our way home from the Marshall Gold Discovery State Historic Park we stopped here to eat. It is located inside a gas station and has no indoor seating but there were a couple tables outside but this is definitely something you eat in your car. I tried the cheeseburger and it was really good, I wouldn't go out of my way to come here again but if I'm ever in the area and wanted a burger or to try a sandwich I would come here again. The service was fast and friendly here as well.”

“Taco Tuesdays are the best! Usual options are beef, chicken or fish. Occasionally, they also have shrimp. All of them are delicious and the price is very reasonable. I hear they serve excellent breakfast on the weekends as well.”
“Jackie pours her heart in to her work. She is a talented baker. She uses thoughtful ingredients. She supports local farmers. She works hard even when sales aren't there. Please support her business whenever you have the chance. She's the type of business owner we actually need around.”
“I first went there to meet up with my girlfriend...loved it. Very good service and drinks. Great crowd too. Very welcoming.Since then.. Girlfriend is no longer..but I will still come here ...cuz it is fun and several nice ladies are there too.”
“One of the most middle of nowhere breweries I've experienced. Reminds me of the hard to reach Brewing Lair further north on the east side of Sierra as far a far flung. Very good European style beers. Their black lager and Pilsner were quite nice. I'm sure this spot is popular during river rafting season. Visited in early spring and was one of a few there. Friendly staff and large space around brewery for outdoor seating or other activities while enjoying quality brews. Definitely not an IPA stop which is nice to have other options versus so many IPA centric places.”
“Lance's Food is a game changer. When it feels like there is nothing else to eat these days but unhealthy. quick options Lance is here to save the day. I can remember countless nights that my family and I had great, delicious food. Thank you MQ Healthy”
“Go for the people, not the food. The place is closed right now for renovations but will be reopening with new owners (still local) and better facilities. Looking forward to this community staple making a return.”

“Although the prices on the wall is intimidating for a local "pub," the food was magnificent. Fresh and quality ingredient and unconventional plating more than made up for the initial expectation of the usual pub grub found elsewhere. The steak burger was enormous. The fish sandwich was substantial. Both extremely satisfying. The restaurant is clean and upscale, with plenty of parking. Friendly service and ample number of clean booths and tables. This place is a must visit, after a hard day of gold panning at the Marshall Historical Museum and Park.”

“Sandwiches are made fresh whether hot or cold! All ingredients are prepared while you wait a short time. It's busy during the spring and summer rafting season but worth any wait! You'll be glad you stopped in this unique Mom and Pop sandwich shop! Friday is taco night and Monday night is homemade meatloaf dinner! The help is gracious and friendly- a fun place to get a yummy meal! Also, if you want a beer with your meal they have choices to go with the games on big screen. Try them out! You will be glad you did.”

Causal atmosphere.I normally go when they are not real busy as I am normally not in hurry but enjoy it a bit quieter. Scenic Route just up Marshal Grade off Hwy.49.”

“Trying mudwtr for the first time while sitting at a carved picnic bench along the American River. The kind folks working at Argonaut made it with water, whole milk, and honey in addition to the mudwtr. There's a rich, earthy complexity to the taste - it's impossible not to just sip and savor, especially considering the calm vibe outside”

“Dropped in for Breakfast before rafting. Raining at camp so we came in to dry off and get some food. The Coloma Club is a diner with a ton of character in a remarkably rural spot between Auburn and Placerville in the foothills just outside of Sacramento. You'll sit between Coloma locals, motorcycle tourists, river guides and river runners in a building which has seen a lot over the years. (Just check the picture section). The food was diner food. Not pretentious or over-wrought, but capably prepared and it hit the spot on that cold Fall morning before we ran the American River. If you're looking for crepes, a fresh fruit and yoghurt bowl or gravy made from scratch this might not be your destination. But for a comfortable meal in a great setting surrounded by an eclectic mix of people you'll be stoked.”
“The wine was really delicious, but the inside vibe is very weird. The inside felt outdated with the red flooring and old furniture. However, the outside deck is gorgeous and has so much potential. I would suggest they play music in the background and have their workers know how to use the register better.”
