Based on customer reviews, Buckeye Restaurant & Bar is a hidden gem in the mountains of Georgetown. It is an inconspicuous spot from the outside, but inside it has a western-rustic charm with its own special flair. The atmosphere is described as "farm quaint" with a small bar for regular locals. The menu is relatively small, which is a good sign, as all dishes are homemade with excellent taste and quality. The best Prime Rib reviewers have ever had is offered on Fridays and Saturdays, and the halibut is the freshest in the land. The cream mushroom soup is amazing, and meals come with salad and fresh sourdough bread. Service is fabulous and gracious, with staff who are courteous and happy to wait on customers. The owners personally introduce themselves and engage in genuine conversation. Prices are absolutely reasonable. Reviewers recommend making a reservation so the owners can plan their food supply. Parking is a dirt lot. This restaurant is a perfect spot to get away from the bustle of city life.
