“An amazing deli with delicious sandwiches and beers! All the sandwiches were fresh and tasty as well as the onion potato chips. We enjoyed the service and overall experience!”
“Trying mudwtr for the first time while sitting at a carved picnic bench along the American River. The kind folks working at Argonaut made it with water, whole milk, and honey in addition to the mudwtr. There's a rich, earthy complexity to the taste - it's impossible not to just sip and savor, especially considering the calm vibe outside”
“Dropped in for Breakfast before rafting. Raining at camp so we came in to dry off and get some food. The Coloma Club is a diner with a ton of character in a remarkably rural spot between Auburn and Placerville in the foothills just outside of Sacramento. You'll sit between Coloma locals, motorcycle tourists, river guides and river runners in a building which has seen a lot over the years. (Just check the picture section). The food was diner food. Not pretentious or over-wrought, but capably prepared and it hit the spot on that cold Fall morning before we ran the American River. If you're looking for crepes, a fresh fruit and yoghurt bowl or gravy made from scratch this might not be your destination. But for a comfortable meal in a great setting surrounded by an eclectic mix of people you'll be stoked.”
“Finally a place with beer options other than heavy IPA’s !! Super friendly staff and honestly the best beer I’ve had at a brewery in a long time. Easy 5/5 stars. :)”
“As a dual citizen of Italy and America it is so hard to find food places that feel like home and aren’t “Italian American” where it’s nothing but pizza and spaghetti. This food was AMAZING! I can’t wait for my momma to come visit so I can take her here! 10/10 will recommend to anyone! The portions are perfect, I left feeling so full and had to get my cannoli to go.”
“Absolutely amazing food. Every single thing we had was delicious. The beef Bourgogne stew was my favorite. The pre fixe was a great deal and the cod was cooked perfectly. The only complaint I have about the dessert is that it was too good and I want more. Best meal I've had in a long time and reasonably priced as well!”
“Great beer and excellent BBQ! Love they that have a great variety of brews available, along with a couple wines and a cider. The happy hour half order of nachos are plenty to share and the slow smoked tritip was fantastic. A wonderful addition to Placerville!”
“This was our first time here, we saw the place 2 days ago, but we were in a hurry, but we decided we will try it in the way back home, and we did and everything was excellent, the BBQ was flavorfull, all the meats came off the bone easily and all the sides were perfect, specially the cole slaw and the green beans and the rolls, they reminded me of my country.Everything was great, from food to the place to the staff.Keep up the good work and the superb food.Parking: Right at the door, lots of spots.Kid-friendliness: This food is perfect for everyone, kids will love it.”
“Tonight was my first experience in this restaurant. The service was excellent! We got to our seats, the owner offered my kids goldfish as a small snack while waiting for dinner. The food was hot and quick to arrive. We ordered the Cameron Park Curry and the Pad Thai beef which came as decent portions and surprisingly filled all of our stomachs. (4) The server( tall gentleman) was kind quick and was on top of anything we needed. 100% recommend to anyone wanting Thai! We will see you soon Thai House!!Kid-friendliness: Really exceptional service with little ones!”
“This is a nice wood fired pizza place. The food was delicious. We ordered 4 pizzas between 4 people each with their own favorite but all agreed they were all delicious. They also had a different (unique?) selection of beer (ale?) that we enjoyed.”
“For months I would stop and read the menu but just couldn’t bring myself to try one their “concoctions”. That was my loss. I’ve stepped out of my comfort zone trying several of their master pieces and have not been disappointed once. This place is like the Disney Epcot of sandwich shops. Ready for an American classic, the biscuits and gravy sandwich might be their simplest sandwich but I’m salivating right now just thinking about it. The gravy is top three I’ve ever had, if not the best. Ready for a trip south of the border, the enchiladas suizas sandwich might be my favorite so far (minus the sour cream). The addition of the chips might seem like something my kid would do, but don’t think this sandwich would be same without them. The salsa verde rivals anything I’ve had at any Mexican restaurant. Looking for something a little on the sweet side then give the honey walnut prawns a try, and continue down the Asian fusion path with the pot sticker cheese burger. I could go on but just know your trip around the culinary world doesn’t stop there. Don’t like to travel, no problem, the cheese burger will more than get the job done. Fair warning, they have a lot of fun and work their butts off, but on busy days there can be a bit of a wait so take some time and enjoy all Main Street has to offer. It will be more than worth it.”
“What a great little hidden gem. Delicious food all around; we had Pozole super flavorful, quesabirrias, a torta and pupusa. The pupusa selection is very limited but they were decent. Service was great.”
“John and his staff serve lunch that is locally sourced and organic. There's always a line to order, but well worth the wait. The elk burger is awesome. John and his staff are gracious and skilled. It's like coming home to family every time I walk in.”
“Popped by here after jury duty in Placerville and oh my... These sweet treats were perfect!! This place is such a cute little bakery with lots to choose from! I got their chocolate chip cookie, and it is just how I like them -- so soft, not too sweet, and almost like cookie dough! I also got the oatmeal thin mint cookie, which sounded interesting at first but wanted to try, and it was delightful! It's not too sweet and had a perfect balance with the mint. I also tried their coconut macaroons which were amazing! Reminded me of how my mom makes them! Thank you for such a wonderful treat! I definitely need to come back to try the gelato, which looked AMAZING.”
“In-N-Out is hands down my all-time favorite fast food joint. From the moment you step inside, the mouthwatering aroma of their juicy burgers and freshly cut fries fills the air, making your taste buds tingle with anticipation. The simplicity of their menu is a refreshing change, with options like the classic Double-Double or Animal Style fries that never fail to hit the spot. The quality of the ingredients is top-notch, and you can taste the difference in every bite. And let's not forget about their secret sauce – it's a flavor explosion that takes their burgers to a whole new level. In-N-Out has captured my heart with its delicious food, friendly service, and a vibe that's always laid-back and inviting. It's no wonder I can't get enough of this West Coast gem.Parking: AvailableKid-friendliness: AvailableWheelchair accessibility: Available”
“You walk in and they always greet youwith a smile. Seated quickly and attended to with warmth and professionalism. Cater to customers needs while making you feel more at home enjoying your meal. We've never been disappointed the menu and service is excellent . Just after a couple of visits they remember our favorites. We now take our grandson once a week he loves to dine there as well.Fully recommend them for a wonderful meal.”
“Located in the far side of a strip mall. Plenty of parking. Cozy restaurant, a throwback to earlier days. Warm greeting and attentive staff. Mostly booth seating. Food is perfect if you Are looking for Mexican food with little deviation from mild. The Chile verde was tasty but the beans (whole) and rice were bland. Complimentary chips were excellent and salsa was good. The restaurant was busy for a Thursday afternoon.”
“This is a healthy food / shake location. The focus is very healthy shakes and teas. It is in league with other health establishments like gyms and health food stores. The lack of normal lunch type foods is not lacking in a great atmosphere with a healthy mission.”
“We'd come once before - just after they opened. They have much improved! Food was good. Good value for lunch 1/2 sandwich with fries and either cup soup or salad. Decent milkshake too. Server was pleasant and very attentive even though she had a lot of tables. Hot ham and Swiss and a lunch burger.”
“The menu is jammed packed with innovative options, and everything we ordered was loved! It was so good, we went back the very next evening. Baked mussels, agadeshi tofu, Lobster roll, Molotov Roll, Chicken Katsu, and Double Bogie were excellent!”
“Amazing, fresh, delicious dumplings, with a variety of options. Kind and friendly service, that made me want to come back. As well as outdoor seating with shade. A very relaxing lunch stop while traveling .”
“My 87 year old mom and I were given your restaurant as a recommendation, so we thought we would try it out. We were very pleased. Food was great, service was speedy and friendly.”
“I stopped by Joe’s for a quick bite and I am extremely satisfied. The Joe’s mega breakfast burrito is delicious! The latte was perfectly crafted with the right amount of heavy cream. Thanks, Gals!”
“Vegetarian options: Vegetarian and vegan options that are super tasty - clearly labeled, too. We had the Thai and the Hippy, I recommend both and will order again for sure!”
“Great coffee house. Their bagel sandwiches are quite tasty, we had the everything bagel with provolone & sausage also another everything bagel with pepper jack & ham. We shall be back.”
“We had a party for 40 of our friends & family recently & Frank Jr. made our experience so easy from ordering to picking up the food! The entree was delicious & everyone loved the food! We ordered spaghetti & meatballs, garlic bread & Caesar salad! Would highly recommend!”
“Enjoyed a late lunch here on our drive back from Lake Tahoe to the Bay Area. Didn't get to try their Lobster Bisque since they were out (Friday ~2pm), but our daughter loved their clam chowder. The Baked Brie was so delicious - served with warm bread, dried fruit, grilled onions and truffles. It was gone within a few minutes! For our mains, the crab cake sliders were fine, nothing spectacular. But their Salmon Salad was a hit! The salmon was cooked just right, not too dry, with a lightly sweet, refreshing dressing. I wish I could bottle up the dressing and take it home! We'll definitely be coming back when we're in town again.”
“Very helpful explaining the different sandwiches, build your own options as well as their own creations. Loved the Mac and Cheese melt (with or without bacon)! Crunchy on the outside and creamy macaroni and cheese inside with melted cheddar! Delish!Vegetarian options: Not sure if vegan options, but enough vegetarian options, Caprice email, macaroni and cheese melt, veggie sandwich, salads.Parking: Free parking for 2 hours, then must payKid-friendliness: Outdoor patio dining”
“The food here is delicious--really tasty--not blah like many Mexican restaurants. This place is SMALL--only 2 tables inside--some outside! Eat in your car if need be--you won't be disappointed!!”
“Great food, but apparently they don't serve families of 5 anymore. They told me they wouldn't do so many burgers again in the future ?:I told them I had no issues waiting 30-45 minutes when ordering over the phone & when I picked up they told me they what I stated above. It's not misinformation by me but possibly the staff.”
