“Dont be fooled by the purple color of this restaurant. The outside dining views were amazing!!! I ordered the combination Teriyaki entree which came with hot soup and a salad. OMG the plate was sizzling and food was seasoned very well. Our server was so sweet and the bathrooms were clean. i highly recommend this spot the next time you're in Placerville.”

“This winery is one of the best! We visited for a wine tasting and the gentleman was so informative about the wines and how they are harvested, we couldn’t get enough of his knowledge! The wines, all six, that we selected on our own were excellent! We will probably join the club when we get home! Also, there is a picnic area that you can purchase a charcuterie board or cheese and crackers, spreads and dips to sit down and enjoy with your bottle of wine! It’s fantastic!”

“BlueBarn Provisions is an absolute gem in Camino! Everything about this place feels thoughtful and elevated…. from the cozy, charming atmosphere to the beautifully crafted menu. I had the Roasted Turkey with French Brie + Peach Jam, Spring Greens on Ciabatta, and WOW. The flavor combo was perfection; savory, creamy, slightly sweet, and so fresh. The peach jam with the brie took it to another level, and the ciabatta was perfectly toasted. You can tell they really care about quality ingredients and presentation. This is the kind of place you go once and immediately start thinking about what you’ll order next time. If you’re anywhere near Camino, this is a must-stop. 🥪✨”

“Unbelievable food! I am so excited to have discovered this foothill gem on a whim. The Place is a little out of the way, but WELL worth the trip. It wouldn't be a stretch to say this is the best food in El Dorado County. The cuisine is Italian fusion rather than straight Italian, but it works incredibly well! Make sure you start with the Piemontese Bagna Cauda (AKA "Hot Bath"). It's the best flat bread you'll ever have, without hyperbole: crispy outside, wonderfully doughy inside. For main courses… take your pick. The pizza— traditional Napoli Italian style— is perfect, no matter which one you choose. The other entrees are just as good. Don’t be put off by the use of polenta in place of traditional pasta. I was skeptical at first, but the first bite washed away all misgivings. These people know how to cook! Bene, Cirino’s, Sergio’s, Three Forks… all the best Italian places in the foothills will have to fight for second place.”

“I have never ate at a restaurant where EVERYTHING on my plate was amazing until I ate here. Went on a Sunday evening in July of 2026. This place blew it off the chart with it all. Ribs=9/10. Prime rib 9/10. Cornbread 9/10. Ham 9/10 a surprisingly the collard green were 9/10. I never give a 10/10 even of it was, but this place is worth every penny spent. I thanked a couple of chefs in person. Great staff and appeal to the entire room. You all are my new favorite place to eat and I’ll pass on the greatness about you all. Into my hat and wallet off to every one of the staff here.”

“Great decorations. Even the bathrooms look like a forest. When we arrived, we were all given a light-up wreath crown, which we were able to take home. There were 5 of us and we had the fondue dinner. Each course was more food than we could eat. Started with cheese fondue. Main course was pieces of filet mignon, chicken, meatballs and giant shrimp cooked in oil and finished with chocolate fondue. Delicious. Our waiter, Miles, was outstanding. Made sure we were well taken care of.”

Management came by to say hi mentioned he was going to check on our food and never came back. Still waiting then flagged someone down to ask again. She went to check and she apologized that i was a while longer. Finally food came. Management came back over and offered us a free dessert in addition to the birthday dessert due to us waiting so long for out main course.”

“This little donut shop is in the rural burbs of Placerville, CA. I’m obsessed with their donuts. Delicious! Visually gorgeous! Cover donut gorgeousness. The family that runs it is kind, engaging, and welcoming.

I luv donuts, ever since my dad introduced me to them at possibly too early age. Over the years, I’ve had my fair share of donuts. Sunshine donuts are just darn delicious. I prefer raised potatoes ver cake, but won’t turn one down. The raised donuts are airy, fluffy with the right amount of chew. The cake donuts are just as delicious but with a cake dense ness fluffiness. And I can’t stop saying enough about the smooth professional glazing. No glaze cracks or bubbling.

Don’t let the modest exterior fool you. Stop on by… not only do they have the best donuts around, they have breakfast sandwiches, other baked goods, coffee drinks and a cold case stocked with every non alcoholic drink you can think of. Milks, juices, energy drinks, sodas… etc.”

“I went to Annie's for the first time today and ordered the Mexicali sandwich and fries. The chicken was cooked perfectly and the sandwich had just the right amount of spiciness to it with the chipotle sauce and jalapenos. The fries were amazing and crispy too. Everyone that works there was very attentive and super friendly. I live right around the corner and I will definitely be back to try the breakfast and mimosas. I told my husband it was a 10 out of 10.”

“Just found this place! My husband and I were looking for some place to have dinner that we both like.
I ordered the pulled pork sandwich and Mac n cheese side, he ordered the two meat combo with the ribs and trisket.

The atmosphere was nice, family friendly, the beer was delicious too.

I'll be honest, some times it's hard to find a good place for us to go eat out at. This was a place we just sorta found by looking for dinner.

“We had a birthday dinner at Wonderful Chinese last night. When the reservations were made, I mentioned we were celebrating 3 birthdays. I did this to see if it would be okay to bring in a birthday cake and they said no problem. Much to our surprise when it was time for cake they brought out one, they had bought to add to the celebration. It was very touching and even more fun to hear Happy Birthday sung in Chinese. Thank you to everyone at Wonderful Chinese for a scrumptious dinner and helping us to make some special memories!”

“This place continues to go downhill in my opinion. We have been going there for years. But the last year we have stopped going much at all because the service is very hit and miss. A few good servers here and there. The food had also started to be not as good. We decided to try it again and for me this is probably the last time. The serving size for the price is pitiful. Especially the ridiculously small kids pizza for $12. It was burnt on the bottom besides. The garden sandwich sounded very good but was pitiful and served on a dry bun. The service was adequate but not friendly. Just disappointing again. This used to be one of my favorite places.”

“We had the most wonderful experience at Spice Kitchen in Placerville! My husband ordered the Chicken Curry and I had the Lamb Korma — and both dishes were made to absolute perfection. The flavors were rich, authentic, and beautifully balanced. I love my food spicy, and the Lamb Korma was perfectly seasoned for me — full of warmth and depth — yet mild enough that my husband enjoyed every bite as well. That’s not an easy balance to strike! What truly makes this place special is the charming, quirky setup. The outdoor seating area is connected to a convenience store that offers local wines and an excellent selection of craft beers — such a fun and unexpected touch. The patio itself is incredibly inviting, complete with chandeliers and a rolling water fountain. It’s one of those places you simply have to see to appreciate. Even better, the convenience store clerk doubled as an excellent, classy waiter. The service was attentive, warm, and professional — completely unexpected in the best possible way. To top it off, the chef came out personally to greet us, and we were able to thank him ourselves for such an outstanding meal. That personal touch made the experience even more memorable. The reason we originally stopped in was because I’m scouting a fourth pit-stop location for my Mustang Car Club poker run in June. After this visit, I can confidently say — if they’ll have us — we will absolutely be stopping here. Great food, unique atmosphere, and a memorable experience all around. Highly recommend!”

Every time we eat here, the food never disappoints, no matter what we order. Today was a quick lunch... the chicken taquitos and carnitas were delicious. Try the carnitas, so good. The complimentary chip/salsa bar offers a variety of heat levels. They also have a good variety of beers and bottle drinks, plus fountain drinks. The restaurant is always well staffed & the staff are friendly. There is indoor or patio areas for dining. Three restaurant is we'll designed and decorate, and kept clean.”

“JoJo's has done so many cakes for me and they have all been delicious works of art. But my birthday cake this year was magical. It was Greek themed and I had my party at a Greek restaurant. The restaurant wants to hire JoJo to make them a cake exactly like mine as it matches their vibe so well! The flavor was outstanding, lemon with lemon curd and fresh blueberries. It just doesn't get any better. I'll never go anywhere else! Looking forward to the next cake for an upcoming 18th birthday party in our family. For every party, I'm always tasked with taking the cake order to JoJo's. They are always able to create my ideas, even the challenging ones. And the prices are fabulous.”

“The General Manager, Kacie, at this restaurant is doing a fantastic job! I've been going to this RTP for many years now and this is the best it's been. The quality of the salad bar is top notch. She goes to the trouble of chopping the lettuce, making it easier and less messy to eat. The pizzas are great. The place is CLEAN. But beyond all that, there's a general feeling as soon as you walk through the door of warmth and hospitality. You're met with smiling faces and a friendly greetings of welcome. Everything has really improved since she's been in charge. Keep up the good work, Kacie!”
