3 out of 5 stars because this 'cheap' Mexican food place is becoming too expensive. A vegetarian burrito with only beans rice and pico went from $6.99 to $8.99 last month. Not buying that anymore!
This is our favorite El Forestero in placerville. Place is always very tidy and salsa bar stocked up. Plenty of parking. Super friendly service. Drive-thru is fast and efficient. I love the decor. I'll never get sick of the Cornelius tacos that's the best.

Best quick Mexican food stop in town. I've never experienced a long wait and service has always been friendly. A little pricey but trust me they give you a BUNCH of food so it's worth it. Gotta love the hole in the wall drive thru, very ambient.
