“I stopped for lunch today and my burrito was promptly served, and was one of the best tasting that I've had in awhile. I also appreciated that the salsa was super fresh, and I noticed that the whole restaurant was very clean. I'll be sure to remember this place, when I'm working in the area.“

“Had no expectations but WOW did this place deliver. You can tell everything is homemade with lots of love and practice. Portions are HUGE for the price. I will be dreaming of the sopes with birria for years to come. My only suggestion would be to add a bit more salt to the chips and try a different way of keep them warm. They were a bit stale in the hot drawer.
Otherwise, this place deserves on the Michelin Guide.“

“There are many Mexican food restaurants but this is one of 2 that we highly recommend in Placerville. El Carnival has so many great options to choose from, we appreciate their specials, too. Every time we eat here, the food never disappoints, no matter what we order. Today was a quick lunch... the chicken taquitos and carnitas were delicious. Try the carnitas, so good. The complimentary chip/salsa bar offers a variety of heat levels. They also have a good variety of beers and bottle drinks, plus fountain drinks. The restaurant is always well staffed & the staff are friendly. There is indoor or patio areas for dining. Three restaurant is we'll designed and decorate, and kept clean.“

“I was lucky enough to stop in here last Friday during my lunch break. First of all I was greeted with wonderful customer service from Ruben. Everyone there was so nice. He put so much love and passion into his food put it this way. I will drive an hour just to go eat lunch there anytime very well worth it support a small business and an excellent Taqueria“

“Did drive thru super late night and during lunch hour and both times I've been very pleased with my meal as were my friends each time. Portions were good,very flavorful good use of spices,not too much salt,food tasted fresh,smelled great!
The to go packaging incling meals bag of green and red salsa containers,plastic utensils, appropriate amount of napkins etc and no spills or leaks ,food stayed hot! Will be coming back for sure,I don't do In n Out!“

“My family and I love Jimboy's Tacos. The staff is friendly and always recognized us when we walked in the door. I don't usually like fast food Burritos ( I make my own at home), I love Jimboy's burritos they taste like the burritos that my Mexican friends make. Unfortunately, we no longer live in California and there is no Jimboy's where we live. We really miss it and will definitely visit whenever we are California“

“Came in by myself with a large order (picking up for 6 people) and had the best experience I have had at this store. Jessica was able to rapidly put together each of my bowls and about a million side orders for my kids, all with a smile on her face. Wade was right on top of baggging everthing up and finishing out the last few things I needed, had me rung up and out the door really quickly. Cool thing was that even though I was in and out in less than 8 minutes, they both still took the time to be super freaking friendly and make absolutely no mistakes.
I have a happy household tonight, and it was all a feel good experience.
