Honestly, there’s probably not a day. I don’t think about eating there.
People are very friendly and make you make you feel at home.

“This is the best taqueria in town! We tried 4 tacos; fish, pastor, carnitas, and asada. Fish was marinated and grilled, no batter. This delivered a moist and delicious taco where the fish really is a star. Pastor was shredded in a red sauce, messy and really savory. Caritas were perfectly crispy and porky. I stopped ordering asada because I was tired of gristly and tough cuts of steak this was tender, juicy and oh so grilled tasty. I'll be back often!“

“Mother's Day, our family enjoyed a delicious celebration at the Placerville location. The mole sauce was perfect. The salsas and bean dip were very good. And the service with Al our waiter was absolutely perfect. Our family has enjoyed Durangos (previous name), and now Vallarta for 30+ years. Different but equally delicious. Next we're heading to Vallarta in Roseville!

“I did not get a chance to eat here but my truck had a coolant leak and broke down in Placerville. I managed to get to the O'Reilly Auto Parts near this restaurant. Two of the employees at Freshmex Express were very helpful. One of them helped me figure out where the leak was and I was able to get the parts I needed. He even went above and beyond and did the repair for me. Thanks so much!!!“

Tacos are exactly how I remember them, they are the absolute best tacos. First time having a bean and cheese burrito and I must say better than any place you could get a bean and cheese burrito.
