We visited on Sunday, and Cassie helped us. This is our new favorite spot!
From the vibe ( clean/laid-back), the pricing ( competitive and reasonable) the treats ( next level deliciousness) and the customer service ( exemplary) — everything was immaculate. Highly recommend this new spot.

Caked is a new favorite spot in Placerville, offering a clean and laid-back vibe with competitive and reasonable pricing. The treats are next level deliciousness, and the customer service is exemplary. The shop is spotlessly clean, with cute spots to sit inside and 3 tables to enjoy tasty treats there. The ice cream selection is great for a hot day, and the custom cakes being picked up are so cute. The cake pops are delicious, and the baked goods are so moist and tasty. Favorites include the brownie (do chocolatey) and the blueberry muffins (so moist with an incredible streusel topping and a hint of vanilla). The chai bar, Oreo white chocolate and chocolate chip cookies are all delicious. Great hot coffee and nice seating add to the experience. The grand opening was a great success, with high quality baked goods from an experienced Baker. The cakes are tops, but the ice cream counter is a secret worth checking out. Placerville is lucky to have more places for a sweet little treat.
